Leaving Time Jannies and the fact that Nomura is a hack aside, what did Sephiroth mean with this?
youtube.com
In fact, what the fuck is the deal with that ending? Why are they in the middle of space all of the sudden?
Leaving Time Jannies and the fact that Nomura is a hack aside, what did Sephiroth mean with this?
wow, did they seriously just stick the ending to Advent Children into this game for no reason?
Seven seconds is the amount of time it took Sephiroth to fall when trying to stab Aerith.
The 7 seconds he refers to is Aerith's death.
It takes Sephiroth exactly 7 seconds to glide down before he stabs her.
This Sephiroth is from post-Advent Children and manipulating the story of the original game to take a new course.
Why? I know he's a crazy faggot but why bother?
Seven seconds until the end.
it takes sephiroth seven seconds to fall down and impale aerith.
Fuck if I know, but Remake was a reference to Sephiroth trying to remake the plot the entire time, a Nomura ass subtitle.
So he can win this time
>Why? I know he's a crazy faggot but why bother?
Because he lost in FF7 and lost in AC.
So now he's using that knowledge to reshape history so that he wins.
Sums it up.
Since when does he have the power to do that?
Oh fuck, did Nomura play Undertale?
ah, FF7 wasn't a remake, this is actually FF7vsXIII
Nomura just wanted to have an epic final boss fight with Sephiroth where he throws buildings at you and shit, he'll come up with some explanation for it all later.
god i want cloud to kiss me
>“The edge of creation. Cloud, lend me your strength. Let us defy destiny, together.”
WHEN YOU WALK AWAY
time loops is nothing new or uncommon in Japanese media. Especially with the influence of the eternal recurrence tropes.
Which hentai is this?
Sephiroth plz he doesn't like you back.
Nomura steals ideas from shitposts, what will he steal from Yas Forums?
The standing explanation right now as to why they're in space in shit comes from the Jenova fight scan entry that it induces hallucinations. When all is said and done and the battle's over with, Midgar's perfectly intact and the Shinra Tower's still standing, so either Sephiroth put everyone in some stupid pocket dimension shit, or the entire endgame besides killing the time jannie ghosts was one massive hallucination.
Nomura is a hack
time jannies are from... somewhere else.
to them, they just got to gaia.
to the main cast, they got their thousands of years ago, and recently, and in the future.
if the ghosts want to change anything, they can do it at any point. (and the easiest way to do something, is at the start, not latter, after it gets complicated.)
so by "fixing the time line" its the harder way to get a result.
Sephiroth clones/those injected with jenova cells are all linked together.
So I can only assume somehow these new beings got infected by jenova cells at an earlier time in history, and only current day Sephiroth took advantage of this. (Which makes no sense why he didnt do so sooner)
And the time jannies feel guilty for allowing someone else to abuse their abilities/knowledge, and its why they are "fixing" the timeline.
(events only change after cloud sees seph in sector8, after that u see changes/ghosts)
this also doesnt explain why certain characters can be alive after they are defeated. As this would imply someone changed those characters fates, before the ghosts got involved.
but we'll see if nomura thought this far ahead, or not.
Seven seconds of light vs the 13 sephiroth of darkness.
It's pretty clear.
He asks Cloud to join him in order to defy the fate together because he doesn't want of himself, nor of Cloud, to disappear (whatever that means). Cloud no way fags him, and he gets visibly disappointed like to so they fight. Cloud jobs to Sephiroth, and Sephiroth taunts him about the fact that he has 7 seconds to decide until the end a.k.a. it takes 7 seconds for Sephiroth to fall and impale Aerith in original a.k.a. either Cloud will accept to suck Sephiroth's dick, or Sephiroth will stab Aerith and have original timeline play out.
He can steal from Taro, his games are just shitposts.
>As this would imply someone changed those characters fates, before the ghosts got involved.
It's fucking Genesis, isn't it
I mean, FF1 is centered on a time loop, so yeah.
So basically, Sephiroth is threatening Cloud with Aerith's death, goading him how he will be unable to stop it because he didn't join in so they could together defy fate/predestined outcome of the original game?
I can get behind this.
Nomura time traveled 7 seconds into the past to become more of a hack
>nu-sephiroth even has the same face like him now
kek
What if this game ties with Kingdom Hearts or whatever that animeboy from the secret ending is?
i was thinking this too, since he should have the same information seph does... but then again, it only ever seems ppl with jenova cells share information TO sephiroth, rather than it being a 2 way call.
so who knows.
>Sephiroth becomes a party member
>As well as Zack
>The real villain is the History Giga Nigga
Sephiroth is straight up lying though. He shows the party the overgrown midgar cutscene and says thats the timeline they fail. So they help him pretty much.
Aeirth becomes the final boss, this time You the player have to kill her.
you can't tell me you wouldn't want his soft lips pressed against yours while you both hold one another tenderly, bro
Genesis is a special snowflake though, with all the Goddess bullcrap and what not
No one should be amazed at the amount of asspulling they might commit to, to rationalize this mess
He is the only loose end in the compilation(that secret ending) it would only make sense to resolve it
Does anyone seriously give a shit? This is an utter abortion. Jesus, all my interest in SE has officially died. They've become nothing but neo-Nomura style-over-substance garbage. And I thought FFXV was bad...
But Nanaki concludes that. And why doesn't Aerith intervene at any point, to urge them not to believe that bullshit or enter the portal, considering she said to Sephiroth that everything about him is wrong?
How dare you attack me like this.
Because Sephiroth tricked the party into completely altering FF7's story, so Nomura can jack off about how smart he thinks he is again.
I wonder who could be behind this post...
Genuinely, the writers don't know yet. Their other works were popular for stringing the audience along with twists and cliffhangers as everyone just tried to piece it together. It could be Aerith's death like other anons said, or it could be fucking nothing and they hope you'll forget about it. It doesn't mean anything in the context of this game right now
bringing kino on the table
it takes about that long for a erect penis to ejaculate. obviously hes talking about having sex with cloud instead of summoning meteor now.
i only saw advent children once. (complete edition)
whats the dead giveaway that the remake sephiroth here is ac sephiroth? like besides the dumb wing, but they shoehorned that into crisis core.
>Everything about you is wrong1!1!
>Ok let's enter the portal lol
Or we can just say this theory doesn't hold water from the start, or that the story is plain bullshit
It was already canon that ff7 and ffx take place in the same universe, they will undoubtedly do more with that
As someone who never play FF7 (before you ask, im 26 years old) what is the complete timeline of FF7 after FF7 Remake is released ?????
What if this Sephiroth doesn't just know Advent Children, but also Dissidia? He outright uses the Hell's Gate attack with that name and all.
They wouldn't dare to mess with Aerith's death. Even the normies will be calling for blood if they sully that scene.
The entire fight with Ghostroth is the reference to his AC fight.
No, they'll just remove it. Maybe Tifa dies instead.
Thats why this part ends with the cast killing the time ghosts. So future parts can do whatever the fuck they want.
Crisis Core and the remake I guess.
These are the same characters that see a vision of Red XIII running with cubs and assume that's a bad fate they must resist. Bit of a clusterfuck at the moment
He knows KH too. He says that Cloud would be better with a keyblade.
Sephiroth falls in love with Cloud.
Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina (Jenova) with the Ex-SOLDIER's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls him, and is overjoyed to find out that he has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when Sephiroth recounts the previous day's confessions to Cloud, he only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the Cloud he called is not the same Cloud he fell in love with. In fact, he doesn't exist in this universe at all. He is Cloud's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the Sephiroth's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of his crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
>yfw its the kingdom hearts sephiroth
>It was already canon that ff7 and ffx take place in the same universe
Where? Prove this
Easter eggs aren't canon
Just like Cloud being in FF tactics doesn't have an impact on anything and is a fucking easter egg
Well Part 1 already references the development gags of Seph killing Tifa or Barret, Barret especially. And with so much emphasis on Cloud's relationship with Tifa and Aerith I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up a choice, though tha'ts also way too ambitious for a series like this.
>post advent children sephiroth
That guy is dead.
Removing the most iconic scene of the original would be the final insult towards the fans, and I have no doubt in my mind Squeenix could be so tonedeaf.
Nah, that scene is NOT going to happen now, you don't just introduce time alteration and pretend like everything is gonna be the same. There's no reason for it.
>tfw this Sephiroth turns out to be a brain washed Weiss
Can't wait to get to Rocket Town and find out that the Shinra No. 26 is made out of Gummis in part 2.
>Sephiroth undoes his killing of Aerith
>nu-big bad emerges
>Cloud and Sephiroth team up Dante and Vergil style
Post you are face when
Probably a reference to 7 days till meteor hits. Or this
Normies also wants Aerith to be lived.
Enjoy the extreme Waifu War in FF7R episode 2 !
we chrono cross now
>vision of Red XIII running with cubs
I see this being mentioned all the time, but do they see that, or just the portion of Red running around alone
How can we assume that they see the entire vision, and why in the living fuck would Red assume it's a bad thing, considering the planet is still standing and nature is flourishing
They'll either get rid of it and have Aerith be happy with this new Zack or have the cast fight fate and fail to save her anyway.
see
The faggots behind the Ultimania stuff stated YEARS ago that their stupid little Shinra reference in FFX-2 was canon to VII. His descendants would gather his research, depart Spira for space, and land on VII's world to propagate before many generations later the Shinra company would get its start and use his farplane research as its crux. Then in the Shinra Tower lobby in the remake you can see sort of a founder's image in a museum area, and the guy in the dead center has Shinra's mask from FFX-2.
OOOOOOOhhhhhhh you cant kill a GHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOST THATS SO SILLLYYYYYYYYYY
it takes seven seconds for sephiroth to fall and stab aeris.
Seph is basically offering cloud two choices safe aeris (and with it doom the planet) or kill aeris and safe the planet (and get rid of sephiroth, jenova and meteor).
No its not smart or deep but thats what is in nomuras head right now..
>dead
Hasn't he been a disembodied will that occasionally manifests as a long haired supermodel since like midway through FF7?
So guys, in the final battle...
Why did Sephiroth not have a shirt?
It's actually Kingdom Hearts' Sephiroth. He literally makes reference to it. Multiple times.
You can see his cubs and his XIII tatoo, it's the clip from Advent Children. I genuinely have no idea why the characters would assume anything from that vision, especially given the number of hallucinations they've already seen. They seemingly stumble backwards into killing Fate itself without even knowing the consequences. Maybe they meant to show Midgar destroyed, I dunno
>MGS
Parasites
>FF
Foreskin ghosts
Kojima and Nomura are both hacks
This. They mentioned last year that they didn't know yet what was going to all be in the second part from the original game and they were still in the early stages of production. If the remake isn't just adding stuff to make the individual parts feel like fuller games, and is instead changing things around, they're almost definitely taking the KH approach of making things up as they go and tying up loose ends in convoluted ways.
nope in og FF7 aeris death cutscene it takes seven seconds for seph to fall and kill aeris which is necessary for seph to lose. So he offers cloud a vision of that in hopes he will prevent that and doom the planet. Its retarded and its nomura as fuck
Oh, I just noticed there's a cub behind him, but no overgrown midgard
So basically the same question in my post stands
I imagine Red would actually be happy he's not the last of his kind.
>Square Enix game has huge, flashy insane ending just like every other game they've made
>But it's in FF7 so now I have standards
He never had a shirt to start with last time I checked.
>Nomura didn't even know he was directing until after the E3 announcement
We should've known
How would saving Aerith doom the planet, though? Sephiroth stabs her precisely because she is praying to activate Holy (which she just barely manages to do anyway in the original). If the stabbing was prevented, the outcome would be the same.
No he doesnt
Sephiroth had a shirt?
because he doesn't want kids in this timeline. besides him saying its a bad ending means holy without aeris is what killed all life after it was activated at the end. meaning the seven seconds could put them into the ac timeline or keep them in the everyone dies timeline
I would think the same, the scene doesn't make much sense. Neither does any of this really
You have to keep in mind the user you're addressing has only read a plot summary, he hasn't actually played the game.
Any time a developer has achieved pseudo-celebrity status, it's basically over. It means that his brand already has enough recognition to be sold on name alone, and quality of product will absolutely be sacrificed in favor of early presentation to generate pre-orders. That, and it's pretty much a gurantee that the ego trip will thrust his head so far up his own ass that he will fuck up what's left without fail.
Yes he does. Starting with his joke that Cloud would be better off with a keyblade instead of his sword.
The cloaked watchers of fate sure look familiar.......
>This world has been connected, tied to the darkness......
See, the original first fifth of the game didn't have such an ending. It ended on the highway after you beat down a big robot.
The outrage stems from this fact. If something this flashy happens in the Safer Sephiroth fight, no one will give a shit as it will be expected at that point.
Recall holy wasn't enough to stop meteor and Aerith had to redirect the lifestream to save everyone.
Sephiroth is hoping Cloud will take the bait to help him change destiny, but we don't know exactly what Sephiroth intends to do once everyone can do so. Aerith firmly believes he'll destroy everything at least, and no one in the cast is obviously trusting him.
Since when were you under the impression that Nomura and Kojima were different people?
actually it's smart, you retards didn't even notice this and thought it was random bullshit nomura speech until 1 user noticed it and now you parrot it as the most obvious thing
Feel free to post a source. I'll be waiting.
Ok, so, obviously there's still lifestream if there is still life, moreso progeny
Meaning meteor or lifestream draining bullshit of Sephiroth's original plan didn't go through, so the whole point about holy is moot
You still don't make any sense
Okay, devil's advocate. You have to make the ending more exciting than the giant robot you fight at the end of the road so that you hook people into buying the next game. People who have never played FF7 will think it's cool and buy part 2 to see what other crazy shit is in it. I'm not saying it's good, I'm just telling it how it is from a business standpoint.
>Last game ends with the line "Thank you, Cloud" Uttered by Sephiroth completely unironic and fading away willingly.
He does reference a key, but not keyblade
stop the disinfo bullshit, retard
holy wasnt enough to stop meteor in the end i required both the lifestream and holy and its implied by a flash of aeris face in the end sequence that she set the lifestream in motion
I hope Cloud keeps a fallen feather as a keepsake T_T
still retarded.
shouldnt have gone for the episode meme.
people who never played FF7 will think its gay because its all retarded.
