The problem I see, which mainly would be something you notice on repeat playthroughs, is that he would be more of a roadblock. Atleast as it is you get the catharsis of actually killing him. Being blue balled every playthrough would get annoying

I think the Marauder's issue is it had too much shit going on for what Doom enemies typically are and ruined the momentum a bit. I think removing the wolf or some of the ranged attacks would have made it a bit better and less tedious to deal with.

Honestly, a lot of stuff near the end was not done the best and some of those kill box rooms they started to throw at you were more tedious then fun. I think Doom Eternal would have been better with some trimming.

Marauder's real problem is that his description's not accurate, honestly. You're not supposed to keep him at mid range, you're supposed to avoid him altogether until you see him making a beeline for you. He only runs at you when he's about to drop his guard.

I think the whole idea here is that she went mad due to not being able to go through the Transfiguration and staying in the rule for millennia.
Assuming Vega is the Father and he was conveniently returned to Maykr plane just before Khan was killed, makes me think that Khan can now be successfully transfigured through death thus giving birth to new Khan.
A personal preference would be a non-mad Khan gf that would seek Slayer's help to save their doomed world while trying to fix previous Khan's wrongdoings which actually seems plausible as while it's being invaded by demons, two of its major issues were just magically resolved.
An easier to write but less interesting in my opinion approach would be to have the current Khan version corrupting the whole "evolution through Transfiguration" thus making every successive Khan a recurring villain.

The point is, I think this whole sub-plot has humongous potential.

You can stunlock him by swapping shotgun-ballista back and forth it. It's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

The entire point of this chad amongst demons is to filter out the "I see, I shoot" casuals. Doom is a complex game, with constant momentum as you double jump, monkey swing and dash around the arena, all while managing your resources. It's not that fucking hard.

On top of that, I don't think people realize how fucking easy this game would be if you didn't have to deal with the mini-bosses and manage resources. But I guess most of this board is mouthbreathing, smoothbrained mongs so that's asking a lot.

i didnt hate the maurauders and they werent that hard, but purely for suspension of disbelief i really hate the fact that they have shields that are completely impervious to all of doomguy's weapons. like, if this exists, why wasnt the icon of sin's entire armor made out of it? why didnt every other boss have some of this shit if they knew they were gonna be up against doomguy? khan maykr is an exception because they go out of their way to say her magic orb gives her invincibility, but there are multiple marauders and they're not that crazy strong. i get that its doom and this shit isnt the point but its just the kind of thing i get an autism about when i notice it

Just use the Crucible on them. It's one pip, and a quick kill. The Crucible doesn't work on Marauders.
