I like the dualshock controllers because they're like the best thing for 3D and 2D. The touchpad (and gyro if you like that) on the DS4 is also really neat.
Nintendo could make the best controller but for some reason they don't. THeir analog sticks are really nice but for some reason the WiiU/Switch Pro controllers don't have analog triggers. And the GC had the best triggers but for some reason it didn't have a second shoulder button and the face buttons didn't work that well if you wanted it to use it for something else.
D-Pad was way too small and weird to reach

Sometimes when devs bother with it. I had more use when I used on PC though

2d sure but not so much for 3d given your hands are almost always going to be in a lop sided position and, if you have bigger hands, you'll get thumb clashes if you need to turn both sticks inward.
