Ayane's breast size changes from game to game, always did. Huge in X3 and VV, relatively small in 5 and 6, maybe among the smallest actually.
Helena and Kasumi are usually bigger than what their measurements say.

Measurements in Japanese games are usually full of shit. For DoA it's Honkers being the biggest and Marie Rose being flat. The rest is for the most part the same bodies.

Ayane is supposed to be bigger than Kasumi. They did correct it for DOAX3, but changed it back in DOA6 because of muh core values.

Does anyone actually care about the numbers? Almost all of the girls are between 89-93cm. Tina and Rachel are 95/96, while Leifang and Mila are 87.

I haven't really followed the topic, but I think it's just like one body with parametric value changes. This is why it's so easy for modders to change body sizes on the fly using Cheat Engine by altering, for example, the breast size value to whatever they want.

It's three bodies for sure.
Honoka/Luna/Sayuri (Honoka body) have the same mesh, as do Marie/Nagisa/Kanna (Marie body), and everyone else has the 'Common' mesh. The naming convention is because for a long time it was Marie and Honoka with unique meshes for themselves.
Nagisa is the one who has the most obvious 'slider' editing done on her that isn't just height - her breast size and hips are both visibly different to that of Marie and Kanna even though it's the same mesh when you extract it from the game.
