user, that's a huge part of why people hate her. She is a sociopath in literally every route but her own, while her route is a rushed piece of shit that tries to shove Edelgard's virtue in your face every God damn second.
She would be far more popular with Yas Forums if her route were consistent with the rest of the game.

It really isn't though. She's just autistically raging against the Church, who had nothing to do with the experimentation the mole people did on her and her family, or the Kingdom seceding from the Empire, which was caused by her own family and nobility being degenerate warmongers.
Also, crests are merely a tool, if you take into consideration her own ending, attempting to get rid of them was completely unnecessary, since you could just even out the playing field by manufacturing artificial crests. Not to mention they would just naturally disappear with the dragon blood of a thousand of years ago being heavily diluted anyway.
