Played the 3DS version. Cool soundtrack, lovable characters and overall very decent. Not too long either and the presentation was good too.

All of the game's cutscenes are played in manga style panels but for one of the final scenes there's a transition from manga style to full 3D. Kino moment.

These days I play every game in japanese, the ones that are japanese anyways. It feels like when I was a kid and all my games were in english even though I didn't understand a lick of english, having to put effort just to understand the game adds a whole extra layer of fun! Actually I think my japanese is currently way better than my english was back then. Also, not having to eat up shitty localizations feels so good, I've never looked back.
