You are putting in at least an hour or two of foreign language gaming every day, right, Yas Forums? You're not an EOP in 2020, are you?

I don't need to put in hours because I can already read. Haven't imported it in a while.

Waste of time, books are a better learning tool. Also no kanji in Pokemon so it's a shit learning tool.

No, I'm a proud ESL

English is a more efficient language than japanese and eventually the whole world will speak it anyway so why bother

Sounds fun

Don't worry, bro. I already know Japanese and have moved to Japan years ago.

Because that hasn't happened yet

>and have moved to Japan years ago
My condolences.

>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT THE LANGARINO NOT THE HECKIN' BLESSED JAPARINOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T EVEN PLAY GAMEARINOS THAT WERE NEVER LOCALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIZED!

It's real fucking embarrassing when people spend multiple years learning Japanese only to come out like this guy:

I'm fine though.

Learning is fun, so I try my best!

I'm not watching some shit from SA. Summarize the video.

It has though. The only Japanese games games that don't get translated are the shit ones and hentai games, but you can just look up the CGs for the latter anyway.

absolutely 孕む

my brain can't comprehend it but i really want to learn

help me OP

this. only a delusional virgin weeb will tell you japanese is worth speaking

Yeah, tits too big.

No worries, bro. Here you go.
ずかん

I wouldn't wish that shithole filled with passive-aggressive non confrontational betas and lying cunts upon my worst enemy.

Already doing it everytime I post.

Maybe the problem was on your side too?

i do not speak mexican what does the image say

I fap to Sonic and Shadow’s Japanese voice lines does that count

Nah something is terribly wrong with that country's mental health, not to mention salarymen are STILL overworked literally to death and the ministry of work and welfare sees no problem in this.

>playing all kana games
Don't do this.

day 84321 a wojak post starting with >NOOOOOOO still makes me laugh

Today I will remind them.

Played the 3DS version. Cool soundtrack, lovable characters and overall very decent. Not too long either and the presentation was good too.

All of the game's cutscenes are played in manga style panels but for one of the final scenes there's a transition from manga style to full 3D. Kino moment.

EOP is based.
ESL and non-speakers are subhuman. Polyglots are cringe basedaboys.

This dude plays through Mizzurna Falls, an untranslated PSX game, while "translating" it on stream for his audience.

Some highlights, as the dude went along:

わからない、ただ昨日の夜から見当たらないらしいの
>I dunno, tomorrow night we gotta go somewhere

とにかく会って話そう
>look, we're talking right now

エマ、最近何か変だったでしょう、私心配で・・・
>Ema, she's closer.. she's closer? It's strange that she's closer. I mean, I care about her.

うん・・・これから行くわ。サラの声凄く震えていたの、エマに何かあったんじゃないかしら・・・
>Hmm.. Well from here, let's go to Sara's voice place? Draining? And uh, go where Ema is, I dunno

うまく言葉に出来ないんですが・・・
>did I get a letter from Ema?

And to think that some fan translations are left to people like this.

Attached: images.jpg (225x225, 9.81K)

None of this is correct.

Lol.
That's bad, that's really bad.

I think that was that user's point.

Japanese is the best coomer language, or if you want to live there
Why? I don't know since their lifestyle is pretty shit, their worklife is insane and their environment is pretty hostile

Still want to do it for the fact it's easily one of the hardest to learn

Plus Jap puss

Dolsted

I do but doesn't mean I read it or am learning anything though.

Truly the language of a superior culture.

>I wouldn't wish that shithole filled with passive-aggressive non confrontational betas and lying cunts upon my worst enemy.
Isn't that just San Francisco?

And? No country is perfect, user. Where are you from? Tell me so I can easily pick apart your country the same way you're doing.

>tfw started doing language classes
>tfw was going reasonably well until covid-19 struck
>tfw now incredibly far behind because i learn much better in class than out of it

Please don't say bad things about slowbeef. He was the first let's player after all.

If you lack the motivation to learn outside of class you're not gonna make it.

motivation isn't the problem, it's the change in the way we're learning.
my plan was to learn the foundation in class so that i could pick up the rest independently.

>You are putting in at least an hour or two of foreign language gaming every day, right, Yas Forums?
Yes, but not a kana-only nightmare like the one you posted.

Attached: Screenshot 2020-03-26 22.05.11.png (640x480, 154.52K)

That's a real slow sounding plan then. You could do the equivalent of your entire semester in a few weeks worth of playing cool vidya, drilling Anki, and reading Tae Kim grammar ya know.

Based. Now when will we be getting a Coronavirus RPG maker game?

Attached: 1568123234365.jpg (534x480, 119.97K)

And what does it say?

>learning japanese
>by playing full kana games
yeah shut the fuck up you probably know 10 kanjis but feel like a god because you can read kanas. Do you dumb fuck realize it takes several years to just read japanese newspapers?

Something completely different.

Ah so it's a Monty Python reference

No, it's a SA retard mistaking stuff like 昨日 (yesterday) for "tomorrow".

>replying seriously
Anyway I was wondering if the mistranslations came from not remembering kanji or just general poor grasp of grammar

>subhuman
1942 called

From both. Every sentence is completely wrong.

>うまく言葉に出来ないんですが・・・
>did I get a letter from Ema?
Actually it means "I can't put it into words very well..."

These days I play every game in japanese, the ones that are japanese anyways. It feels like when I was a kid and all my games were in english even though I didn't understand a lick of english, having to put effort just to understand the game adds a whole extra layer of fun! Actually I think my japanese is currently way better than my english was back then. Also, not having to eat up shitty localizations feels so good, I've never looked back.

I would but memorising 5000+ kanji just to play some games is a giant drag

You don't have to memorize 5000+ kanji just to play some games. Do you even know 5000 english words?

bros... soon...

Careful to not become a DJT EOP.

CWC was the first.

>an hour or two
Nigga I have 100 hours in this jrpg I'm playing according to the ingame clock and I started 5 days ago. Also, the game you posted is famous for using very little kanji compared to regular JP so you're better off playing something else.

>he ones that are japanese anyways
Been the same here for quite a few years now, but I make an exception for capcom games. For some reason they feel like are made English first and JP after. Ever tried playing RE in Japanese? It feels like a translation.

Capcom are westaboos. I'm playing Dragons Dogma right now, got the Japanese iso and it's entirely in english except for the voices. I don't know how non-english speaking japs played it.

The first exchange of the game goes like this:

Which is more like

>...Hello
>Matthew?
>...Winona?
>Yeah
>To call at a time like this... Is something the matter?
>I got a call from Sara, she thinks something's happened to Ema...
>Keep it together Wynona
>(sara) got a call from Ema's mom, asking if she knows where Ema is.
>What do you mean?
>I'm not sure... But, it sounds like she hasn't been seen since last night.
>Last night?
>Is something up?
>Ah, it's nothing...
>At any rate, let's meet up and talk.
>Emma has seemed kind of off lately... I'm worried about her...
>Everything's gonna be OK.
>Yeah... Anyways, let's go. Sara sounded really shaken up about this. I wonder anything's happened to Ema...
