Gather marketing data somewhere else Quincy.

When I was little my parents bought me this computer that had really old games in it, like that one 2D game where you're a gorilla aiming boomerangs to hit another gorilla through skyscrapers, and you need to take the wind into account and all that shit.
Around 2008 is when I got my first actual PC and a friend of the family gave me his pirated version of Total Annihilation, bruh that game was and still is god tier

Then TF2, then the rest followed from there

technically started with 1, but in the early 90s, not early 80s. Also I played much more on the PC than consoles even though I did have a SNES, Nintendo 64, PSX and PS2.

>no mega drive

PSP, Shrek The Third

oh uh first game was unironically space invaders

2, Ikari Warriors.
My cousins came to my grandma's place in summer (it's an old farm house, so our families often gathered there) and they had brought NES with with. They also had Super Mario Bros and Ice Climbers, but for some reason figured Ikari Warriors was the best game for a 4-year old kid to play.

5 except I wasn't a faggot, so I had a Sega Genesis

Complicated question
The first time I ever played video games it was either my uncles SNES or PS1 that he would let me play if he went out whenever we visited my grandparents. First system I owned was a N64 a neighbor gave me as a gift when i was like 5, first game was Banjo Kazooie, it was the thing that bonded me and my dad over a mutual interest. I still play the music for him every now and then he loves it.

1
First game was Solaris on 2600

the one before them all that you didn't list.

More like Amigay

1, but in the mid 90s. We were poor, best my parents could afford were an Atari 2600 and Odyssey2 for $10 each, both came with like 20 games for them. I think the one I played the most was Demon Attack. Janky Space Invaders ripoff. After that I got an Atari ST for $25, my interest with computers started from trying to get shit working on it, then I got a frankensteined PC stuffed into an old compaq tower running win 3.1, and from their my interest turned obsession. Still love tinkering with hardware. Wish I had the brain for real coding, but I can at least cobble together garbage when needed, though it probably takes me quadruple the time it would take someone who can actually code.

10-12 is the only right choice. Everything else looks ancient and this is coming from a 19 year old boomer.

First controller was pic related, although I'd been using no-name brand joysticks on the Amiga 500 and later 1200 for years before that.
