user Koei Tecmo is among the laziest game companies known to man. They turned DoA into a literal softcore porn gacha. They got lucky with Nioh 2 and wrapped tons of suckas into it. I'm impressed they're still willing to provide patches rather than excuse themselves.

I'm more curious why they renamed Fanatic to Diehard.

They renamed quite a lot of things, probably because the first name left most names untranslated, even words like breastplate or waist guard were in Japanese.

To give credit where it's due, Team Ninja are competent as fuck developers and are considered a "answer" to game development problems. It's just Koei Tecmo are terrible and mismanage the fuck out their company, despite Team Ninja being one of the best devs there is.
