But the clashing was one of the cool parts of Odyssey though, I enjoyed how the art styles clashed, worlds actually felt unique. I wish the Ruined Kingdom was a full area, it was hilarious to see how Mario stood out in that place.

I got no problem with realistic art style, but those people never put platforming in their tech demos and make their Nintendo homages look like over the shoulder movie games.

Odyssey being an asset-clash is the least of its worries. The difficulty and level design are atrociously bland and simple (even for a Mario game). Super Lucky Tale was unironically a more interesting game.

The Temple of Time that retard made in UE4 looks like absolute shit. It looks nothing like Zelda. It isn't even remotely close to the atmosphere or feel of an ancient temple/church in Hyrule. It looks like a mish mash of random pre-made assets he stuck together. Why the fuck is it made out of polished marble with solid shining gold and solid blocks of textured polygons
