I wish we had gotten a portable railgun special weapon. The unlockables were kind of lame except for the hotdogger and samurai edge. The raiden was cool until you realize it's only good for headshots on regular zombies and does fuck all to anything else.

a railgun isn't a super mega death gun. especially one that someone could lift. a railgun simply propels an object at extreme velocity. the damage is directly correlated to the size of the projectile and what it hits. The primary use of a railgun would be anti-vehicle as vehicles have large vulnerable often hit this and I explode parts. Such as the ammo or fuel stowage on a ship, or anything on a helicopter/jet/tank.

They are correct in terms of ammo expenditure. Chris has a weapon with like 17 shots in it and you see it empty. The other gun has an extended mag for 30 shots. I remember checking it out.
