maybe it wasnt truly "great", it has a lot of problems regarding balance, particularly the snipers. but it was such a fun game and the closest we will get to a Duke 3D successor. but once you finish it, then you realize that a sequel is not in the cards. the expansion is okay, sure, but the melancholy begins to set in when you realize the potential of SiN Reborn and Episodes, both of which were canned, forever flinging the series into a perpetual cliffhanger.
