When did you realize that DMC4 was a better game than 5?
When did you realize that DMC4 was a better game than 5?
I want a port of 4 on the switch, with extra tweaks, like the excellent port of 3 we just got.
Or you can stop being and nintenfaggot and buy it on pc.
Just bought dmc4 last week for 3 bucks on Ebay on ps3. Feels good.
Jesus Christ that looks so fucking bad compared to 3. I want to forget this game ever existed.
I have no idea what you mean.
High level 3 play and high level 4 play are essentially the same, with 4 relying a bit more on air time, but that's about it.
3 and 4 have definitely way more in common between themselves than 5.
5 is fundamentally different, much slower, heavier and ground based.
5 ironically sorta resembles 1 in some elements, compared to the other 2.
When I played DMC4 again, it seemed like I was playing an infinitely faster and more exciting game. Plus, the bosses are better, all of them.
Turbo mode in DMC5 might help with this, but there's just something about it that feels less exciting.
Nope, it'll come out on the Switch and i'm gonna get it there.
Suck my dick, slavshitter.
>like the excellent port of 3 we just got.
lol switch tards are beyond redeemable. what a retard
Seethe and cope, tranny.
After I played 5.
nah
enemies dont attack and you float in air the game.
>Never played it.
When Itsuno said "I am going to make DMC5 basically DmC 2."
beat them all when i was kid, tried mgs5 and it was too easy so i dropped it, this series has aged.
dmc5 not mgs5
>"I am going to make DMC5 basically DmC 2."
How did he get away with it?
But that's only DMC5 you're describing.
He screamed on the stage, threw DMC parties, bough back and redeemed Vergil with a poorly done story. This was enough for some.
I didn't, because I like my games to be games with actual aesthetics and shit instead of am unfinished scarecrow-beating simulator.
Good thing DMC4 has the best and most diverse aesthetics of the series.
Looks overwhelmingly bland and grey.
As soon as 5 started basically.
Same boss you must lose to 5 times.
3 unique bosses youre actually required to beat repeated over and over.
V is boring/unsatisfying to play as but also incredibly easy.
3 different environments.
Cringe as fuck writing and dialogue.
Only 1 good song
Cool Oblivion screenshot
>3 and 4 have definitely way more in common between themselves than 5.
>5 ironically sorta resembles 1 in some elements, compared to the other 2.
not sure if you're only referring to high level play here, but I vastly prefer 1 and 3 to 4 and 5.
You're thinking of 5.
4 takes you from lush jungles, to Gothic castles perched in snowy mountaintops, to downtown cities.
Yeah if you consider the washed out brown and gray an aesthetic. Art direction wise, 4 outpaces 5.
>lush jungles
drowned in bloom
>gothic castles
white and grey
>downtown cities
grey and washed out
4 has shit art direction.
1 is total garbage
>brown and gray
You said it.
>DMC4 has shit art directio-
Filtered.
-n and shit levels.
isn't that picture from the first gow?
>high level 3 play and high level 4 play are essentially the same
...
>3 doesn't even have inertia
>5 is heavier than 4
You stay in the air for far longer in 5 than 4, the gravity in 5 is super low compared to 4.
n.
Yeah I said 5 is. You have to be colorblind to say that about 4. Either this is some heavy denial or plain bait.
What else could be added?
Extreme pleb-tier
1 > 5 > 3 > 4 > DmC > 2
To this day 1 still has the most solid gameplay with the best enemy and level design in the series.
ENTER
DMC2 ART DIRETION
Where the fuck are you seeing brown in your compressed youtube screenshot? That's more blue and grey than anything.
>Plus, the bosses are better, all of them.
the fuck is this revisionist faggotry? DMC4 bosses have always been trashed for how few, repetitive and boring they are outside of Credo.
Berial, Echidna and the Frog are just there for you to JC on. Go on, show me the extent of your mental gymnastics to prove how unique and awesome it is to fight shit like the Savior or THE LITERAL FUCKING WINDOW they dared to call a boss. And who could forget the fucking Pope and his game of catch-me?. The fucking boss rush level that is a staple of the series is held as ''that part'' in video games. Nodody fucking likes mission 19 because the bosses are all shit. We don't even get to fight Credo for fucks sake
I don't think I'll stay here for your reply after all. I hope you enjoy yourself in this thread with your shitposting
>5 above 3 and 4
>Calling others plebs
You can cherry-pick like that with every game though.
That's a lot of words to say you got filtered.
The final Vergil arena looks nicer than anything in DMC4. All DMC4 has over 5 is Credo and Turbo mode. Also Table Hopper looked cooler and was tighter in 4, I guess.
Of course 5 is above 3 and 4 when it shits on them in terms of enemy-design.
>People fell for the '5 has bad aesthetic' meme
This desune, literally the only great boss in 4 is Credo. The rest are either trash or completely forgettable.
Based
He literally isn't.
>Switch
Kek, the DMC3 port just adds shit that was present in 4 and has been modded into DMC3 for years. 4 doesn't need such tweaks
>Nodody fucking likes mission 19 because the bosses are all shit.
I hated mission 19 because of the dice. The bosses didn't help either.
you are proving his point with that webm though. Whoever is playing is just there doing JC combos and nothing more because Bael and brothers dont do anything interesting or eventful
I said the game's brown and gray and as you noted that screenshot features gray colors. The overall game looks undoubtedly muted and uses aggressive post-processing to its detriment. Just look at mission 11 and 13, the enemies outright start blending with the background.
Yeah, but the guy saying 4 looks gray is being dishonest and lying through his teeth.
DMC5 has its visual problems at times, but as shown with the screenshots posted, it's a better-looking game than 4 is. I'm not lying through my teeth, 4 looks washed out and unfinished, 5 has way more of a color palette.
5 is Grey: The Game.
Think what you will, but 5 sacrificed readability over increased graphical fidelity which is a poor decision for this type of game. 1, 3 and 4 all had the character prominently visible at all times where as in 5 they get lost in the noise since made their coats almost grayscale compared to how they used to be. Don't help that majority of enemies' primary color is some shade of gray.
>playing the ps3 port
oh God
>playing the ps3 port
You're really gonna miss that turbo mode, but you do you user.
haha RLOD go brrrrr
pic unrelated? dmc4 is trash btw
