Bannerlord is my first mount & blade and I'm having a blast. It took me some time to get used to the mechanics because I went in completely blind, but now things are improving drastically. I started at realistic mode because I thought the other ones were gonna be too easy and I got fucked hard. Finally getting good tho.

Its definitely a lot better than warband in most aspects but its unstable as fuck and they barely tested anything. Warband has cheating AI and sieges that are just ladders but its still much more worth the purchase than spannerlord is and will be for weeks to come.
Money is really pointless, nothing costs enough.

They will just give them to you eventually.
In bannerlord you get whole castles and all the bound villages instead of just getting a little village.

i've only tried wool and pottery in lycaron or w/e. wool wasn't giving shit so switched to pottery and i get 200-300 average even though the bound villages don't produce clay.

Ive got an i5 4670k and gtx 980. Game runs fine except huge sieges where i get 30 or less fps. Sill cant pull the trigger on upgrading my computer though.

Ive seen people with chain and plate patchwork (cant remember what its called where they have small plates woven into the chain. Maybe I'm not high enough level yet and it unlocks more as you level up like warband.
