Be honest. Have you given up on it yet?

No but I don't waste much time thinking about it because I doubt it will even come out until probably near the end of the Switches lifespan.

Nintendo? Yeah, it's been half a century and they still haven't put out a single good game. A shame, really.

Absolutely not.

no, this isn't even a long gap by atlus standards

Yes!
After they censored catherine and persona for the reseta niggers. I lost all hope for fatlus. Now they can get woke and go broke.

Is that Ultraman?

It's pretty funny how the DS and 3DS got like 20 SMT games but Switch hasn't gotten shit HAHAHA

I know that FATLUS takes for fucking ever to release stuff but I also called it way back in 2017 that MP4, Bayo3, and SMTV were vaporware and none of them have released YET
Coronachan is only going to make me more right

s-sauce?

I'm currently employed by Atlus USA. As far as I know, not even my bosses know much about SMT V. My guess is it should have a JP release by 2025

You are a wise Owl.

I've given up on the whole fucking company dude.

Given up that it will come out? No. Given up that it will be a good game? Yes.

Persona 5 was in development for like over 10 years.
You guys are fucking stupid.

I forgot they were even making this.

Uh TMS and Persona 5 Scramble

prime 4 and bayo 3 i had 0 hope for since all we got was a title card. smtv had a short cinematic and then a few months later a longer teaser, so i actually had hope it would release within 2 years of the announcement.

>TMS

get

>babby's first fatlus game
They always take forever to release their shit, did people forget for how much time Persona 5 was in development?

I didn't forget how fucking shit it was.

You're confusing it with FFXV or some shit, P5 didn't have a title card until 2013 E3 I think

>smtv had a short cinematic and then a few months later a longer teaser
That teaser had some bomb ass music too, I still listen to it.

Yes.

nah
announcuing stuff way ahead of time is Atlus' MO

>Old company bank corrupt
>Sega bought them
>Develop with fewer years than 7R
>Get more score
You dump fk

SMTfags act like a game has never been silent for a few years after its reveal. Coming from the exact same company behind Project Re:Fantasy and pic related.

Attached: Persona 5 2014.jpg (600x338, 30.03K)

>2 years before release date
Its already been longer than that for SMTV you dumb fucking retard

no

based af

did SMTV ever have a release window?

>b-but Persona 5!

Persona got other things while 5 was in development

No but the point is that P5 was announced a year before its supposed release date which then slipped, so there was a 3 year difference between announcement and release.
We've already surpassed that mark for SMT V and Re:Fantasy, which I've been personally looking forward to for longer

>looking forward to Isekai Tensei Persona

It's clearly a similar situation to Tokyo Mirage Sessions where they announced it when the game had barely started development and have since gone through a fairly normal development cycle for a game of its scope (and for a studio transitioning from 3DS to Switch.)

I just wanted a high fantasy ATLUS game that wasn't lolishit like Etrian.
Something with the tone of IV would be orgasm inducing

How are Atlus so fucking incompetent that they can't even make hallway JRPGs in under 3 years?

>end of the Switches lifespan.
>end
user
that's 2027 at the earliest

Attached: 1583976144986.gif (227x221, 967.37K)

They announced it literally before they even had staff assigned to the game.

He's snoygger who deluded himself into thinking that Switch was a flop, be easy on him. He still hasn't recovered from IV being 3DS exclusive.

Well, I'm also concerned about Bayo3 and Prime 4, but it seems they just wanted to hook new switch owners so they announced a lot of big name projects way too early.

Bought switch for this. where is it?

>smt
>big name
it was SMT's 25th anniversary and people would rip atlus' tight butthole if they had only announced a fucking SJ remaster

>Re:Fantasy
>believing thats actually a real thing
lol

Not at all. Is this your first Atlus game? These guys went 2 years not saying shit about P5 then just announced a delay.

not really, but I am sad nothing's been said on it in a while other than it's still in development.

Mantis X

the art was so lovely though
And it was still released in 3 years from announcement, its been LONGER THAN THAT ALREADY YOU FUCKTARD

Attached: 31648495732_23f4485f59_o.png (902x490, 256.13K)

Be glad you've at least gotten a trailer

Attached: Project-Re-Fantasy-Concept-Art.jpg (1920x1080, 158.4K)

Yeah sure but I still dont think its more than a PR guys wild drug experience.

Catherine Full Body PC when?

Because they have individual teams for their games, hence it taking this long

It will come out. But the question is, will it come out as SMTV or as something else entirely?
Maybe a Strange Journey-esque spinoff?

P5 got regular updates on development and only got delayed because of Index's bankruptcy and the Sega buyout. They have no excuse this time
>but weak hardware
This is the same team that worked on the 3DS games, not P-Studio. If they're having trouble with Switch hardware with this in mind, they're literally retarded and should just hand SMT to a better studio.

And now because of corona it's going to be even later we hear anything new

Reminds me, are the tactical spinoffs worth playing?

atlus needs to just ditch the shitch and start making the game for real platforms that can run it. this is getting ridiculous.

Retard

>announce game
>5 years later have nothing to show
based nintendo

Devil survivor 2
Disgeaea
Advance wars

I'd correct you and say Atlus but then I remembered Prime 4's in the same spot, arguably worse because we still only have a jpeg.

I heard this was the spiritual successor to Tale of the Forsaken Land so I'm still hyped for it.

You're gonna take a stream of a guy in armor eating a half-cooked quail and like it

So they should cancel the game? Because it's exclusive, friend.

P5 was only in developement for around 4 years and it had a couple of trailers every year with plenty of news and screenshots

P4----->p5: 8 years
Nocturne------->IV: 10 years

Take a guess

Attached: 1586203305014.jpg (96x88, 7.25K)

I mean, its the only reason i havent thrown my switch in the trash with how shit the library has been

>start making the game for real platforms that can run it
so PC then?

Atlus cannot into HD development, try comparing their PS2 development to their PS3 development and it becomes obvious that they'd been using the DS and 3DS as crutches.

That's not an announcement date, retard

literally anything other than the toy leapfrog tablet.

>Dude grafix lmao
I can't believe people are this desperate for ports

Attached: 15091274905621.png (1022x731, 642.76K)

I'm glad I didn't give in for Pokemon and AC since one of those games is shit and the other isn't worth buying a console for.

I'm waiting to get a switch till it comes out, but I'm also not holding out hope that it'll come out at all. Cool if it does, no skin off my ass if it doesn't.
frankly I thought smt4/a was shit so who cares really. The spinoffs like dds and sj and devil survivor are usually much more tightly designed.

How did the ps2 get like a dozen SMT games but it's taking a full console lifespan for them to make one fucking game?

Why does the industry suck so much now, it takes a billion years for games to come out and honestly half the time their disappointing or dont love up to their precursors

Attached: 20190822_100308.jpg (1080x885, 244.08K)

Good luck with that since an even weaker handheld was home to the best selling SMT game

HD development fucked up Atlus's game output. Persona 5, SMT IVA and TMS are the only new games they've developed since the 8th gen started that aren't remasters or spinoffs.

i firmly believe its coming out next year, at least in Japan
we will get a june trailer plus another big one in september this year
