Best thing you can do to yourself to enjoy the fights is to drop yourself to a rank where you get a 50% winrate. Earn your rank. I assure you it feels MUCH better.

c.L is close L. 2L is down L.

The game will grant you the rank you deserve, just play from there and enjoy the process. Holding onto a rank that you can tell you dont "deserve" will only give you more pressure to not lose it.

numpad notation is for directions. Granblue uses a system called proximity normals. there is a far normal button and a close normal button for each button.
f.H is far H while c.H is close H and j.H is jump H.

so what if you land in F rank? Do you think all those matches until you land in F are fun? Hell no you will get stomped over and over.
The rank is there to match you with similarly skilled players and adjust if you gain or lose in skill. It will adjust to about 50% winrate most of the time. If you grow in skill you will climb no worries about that. Your ego is just fragile and you need to learn to let go of the idea that rank means anything. It oes not.

both of this. Long sets are best to try things out. Reading up on the frame data won't hurt either

Play the game. You can study outside the game all you want but if you can't apply that knowledge once you're in the heat of a match then it doesn't matter how much more frame data you know than your opponent

legit, what is vas' c5H used for

training mode helps too. Frame data is all fine and good, but the dummy can hit any given move out of block stun immediately; giving you a better sense of how a character can punish a particular attack. The dummy can also be set to do a move on wake up which can help with meaties.
