For RDR3, Jack should get drafted in WWI. Then RDR4 won't actually be called RDR4, it'll be LA Noire 2, where he becomes a cop following his service and eventually rises to detective. He then retires to Tahiti in the epilogue, where he writes Red Dead Redemption, the book that can be found in Franklin's house, along with books about the war and crime. I apologize if you read my retarded post.

Is it messed up if I'm actually 100% on board with this?

HIRE

>Jack might have live long enough to see WW1, the wall street crash, WW2 and the man land on the moon
what a century it was

Edit: Thank you for the gold, stranger.

He would never become a detective you fucking retard, he hates authority and especially law enforecement after what happened to his dad

I REQUIRE ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE.

Crazy that there were tons of people alive when Vice City takes place that were old enough to remember the times that RDR2 took place in

Jack would be like Roy Earl.

Why the fuck would Jack join the war after what happened to his dad?

He may join to wipe out corruption within the government or something.

He gets sentenced to death or killed 1 month later after killing Ross.

RDR3
South America
1880

For RDR3 we should play as John's dad and there should be a portion of the game where you just hunt down niggers as part of the Klan, then join the Civil War and shoot more niggers

boring, what there's to be?

You can find a book written by him in GTA V though

>a game about American involvement in WW1
Sounds extremely boring and bare bones

Do you not know what the draft was retard?

europe and usa trying to get their fingers all over everything there

Pretty based

>implying taking part in Belleau Wood or the Meuse Argonne would be boring

Was he really his son

Could an open world war game work?

I want a bonnie and clyde style crime spree across 1930s america.

RDR1 was an open world war game...

Gib boer war RDR3

For RDR3, it's shouldn't be made in the first place. The story has concluded.

Nah he was Dutch’s lad.

Why do they keep insisting on this "last days of the wild west" shit? I want to have a Red Dead game set in the mid 1800s, not this "hurr durr civilization is closing in on us" melodrama all over again

i'd like that user

Ah shit, meant for

He kills Ross in Mexico though. And the only two people who saw him prior have no idea who he is.

Holy fk i look like that guy

>For RDR3, Jack should get drafted in WWI
I fucking hate you people. This was a shitty idea when people were talking about "what should RDR2 be" and it's a terrible idea now.

Way to go, you're unoriginal. And a faggot.

It's what would've happened

So a younger Not-Max Payne in favelas while BR monkeys larp as Romans?

>And the only two people who saw him prior have no idea who he is.
As well being dead.

Unironically, but he's put into a British brigade, shoots an officer, and is tossed into Australia where he becomes a Bush ranger

Your Jack gave no fucks

What makes you think Jack would get drafted? He's an outlaw. He made the choice of following in on his father's footsteps, it's RDR's ultimate tragedy. That all the pain was for nothing.

>mfw it's about Arthur Morgans early career in the gang.

The WWI thing could be really neat but fuck the LA Noire 2 notion.

Also it will not happen. Obviously RDR3 will all be about having another gang since the camp interactions and character relationships between gang members were some of the points praised the most about RDR2.

If anything it will be another prequel about the early days of the gang focusing on Hosea, Dutch and Arthur.
With you playing either Hosea, Dutch or another deseased gang member.

It is stupid... you realize they're going to go backwards again and you'll play as one of the guys who die in the Blackwater incident. Post game with be played as Arthur.

How do people not see them setting up for that?

Yeah, it has to be a prequel to 2. You will probably play as a new character, and have some interactions with a younger Dutch and Hosea. Arthur will be a kid and you'll take him in at one point, and after your character dies you'll play as young Arthur in the free roam mode.
Or, and this is what I hope they do, you play as Sadie after the events of 2. You start out as a bounty hunter and somehow get involved in a new story that isn't tied in with the previous games at all.

Jack would never let himself get drafted.

Considering trenches got stuck for months, yeah. You may go in and out of the trench, help people around, get ambushed, and the no man's land moves as the game progresses.

>I have zero creative bone in my body so I'm just going to redo the plot of RDR2

This is why you work a low wage job for people who can actually create worthwhile things

Cagney and Bogart did. Why not Jack?

DUDE

yes, but they had to be at least 92 years old when Vice city rolled around, and 5 years old by the time RDR2 started.

once saw a yt video of some old 1950s tv program where a dude was interviewed and he was talking about witnessing the lincoln assasination

This would be incredibly fun.

THIS

FAGGOT

Yeah I saw that too, people forget that historical events aren’t 1 set event. That often intermingle with various historical events happening at the same time or short periods between.

Like that Japanese samurai in the 1600s who went to visit Rome by going through Mexico and killed a Conquistador in open combat
