Pretty mad 'cause I liked CS1.6 back in the day and I'd like to give it a go, but only gay ass streamers and streamer cucks are getting codes.

i'm gonna be mad tomorrow when all the streamers i use for background noise while coding are gonna be playing it and i'm not able to because i refuse to sign up for twitch

I can't see it blowing up.
The artstyle is the blandest thing in the universe
Gameplay doesn't look exciting whatsoever

The only incentive for streamers to play it (and considering it's 2020 this is the only way to popularize an online game) will be Riot bucks handed out for streaming it, and when those run out it'll wither into obscurity after 5 seconds of fame, just like Apex Legends

It's a direct clone of CS:GO that manages to look worse and add gimmicks that existing pros will just whine about.

I don't think it'll die overnight, it'll probably do about as well as Apex. But it's a completely manufactured hype, and if the viewers don't hang around, which they won't, because it's not Fortnite, the game is going to be left with no major streamer support and plummet in the ratings, which will just lead to early cries of "dead game".

Riot kids only play LoL, they won't play this garbage like Blizzard fanboys played OW.

Not at all. This has happened for years now. Dumped down version of another game comes out and becomes popular.
I'm used to it and expect nothing else.
I just hope that it brings enough new blood into the fps genre that a % of that trickles down to other shooters.

>But it's a completely manufactured hype,
nobody was paid, all the hype from CS pros that played it is real

Coming from the people that made league, why does it look so HORRENDOUS?

Sure, I totally believe your fantasy version of modern day marketing.

why do people keep saying it looks bad? it's not hyper realistic and gritty but it's got a nice style imo, obviously meant to be played on whatever PC you have.

It king of looks like a mix between TF2 in the color pallet and overwatch in it's level setting.

about as mad as usual, so nuclear ass pained. expect bait threads constantly right after release.

>Not at all. This has happened for years now. Dumped down version of another game comes out and becomes popular.
This. Even if it catches on, it won't be really important to the genre, just popular.

finally new overwatch map!!!

To misquote Gordon Ramsay, "It's fucking BLAND"

you need to disclose when you're getting paid to promote something, are you implying the hundreds of people that played the game were all knowingly breaking the law for riot bucks?

>I'm mad because I can't play a game that has nothing in common with a game I used to play 20 years ago

It feels undecided in its art style. It's kind of trying to be cartoony and exaggerated, but also drab like de_dust at the same time.

>nobody was paid
Even if we pretend that isn't true, they don't have to be.

99.9% of streamers playing this game aren't doing it because it looks interesting. They're doing it for one reason. "What if it takes off, and I'm the number one streamer?".

Everybody wants to be the next Ninja. You see this with every new release, there are always a few 1k streamers who will grind the game for 16 hours a day in the hopes that they'll get that top spot. So not one streamer will have a bad thing to say about the game, until the honeymoon period ends and they all just admit they hated it from day one, but they were hoping to make some money off it.

it has the same art director so that makes sense, the shades of red and blue are literally the same as TF2 as well

Is this their promotional screenshot?

Attached: file.png (204x270, 85.19K)

What is this shit?

The only thing this shit will blow is my dick once we get SFM models of the female characters.

waifus?

>you need to disclose when you're getting paid to promote something, are you implying the hundreds of people that played the game were all knowingly breaking the law for riot bucks?
So you agree that they are promoting something? Something that hasnt been released yet?

Is that a Time splitters 2 character?

>breaking the law for riot bucks
Are you implying they would never stoop so low like the retards that shilled for wb games's shit?

Ye and Apex was organic too, not a paid promotion

Attached: Apex_Legends_-_Twitch_Statistics_and_Charts_ยท_TwitchTracker.jpg (1192x712, 338.07K)

They even made them stream pre-recorded videos so they can completely control the shill operation retard.

it's retarded zoomers that have no idea what a competitive game looks like

Attached: 575c316f35772_2[1].jpg (1024x640, 131.42K)

You should show a chart of daily figures, and then contrast that with major patches.

They paid every streamer to play their shit for a day whenever they dropped a major update, it was fucking hilarious to see the bump.

This

valorant wasn't sponsored you fucking retards

apex WAS sponsored though, every stream had #ad in it.

But valorant had nothing like that, all the people that played it played it because it was popular and made by fucking riot, it's not complicated. If you had a chance to play a game early from the creators of the biggest game on the planet you'd probably do it, especially if it's emulating a style of game that nobody has tried to properly emulate in years.

can't wait for the porn desu, i hear there's already a blender model of sage

This, it looks like shit

>Riot
>creators of the biggest game on the planet

lol

where did i say apex wasn't sponsored? apex sponsorship wasnt a secret. there is no evidence that riot paid anyone money to play this game.

Your post reads like it was sponsored.

I'm torn desu. I love games like CS but there are two big red flags
>Abilities
>Riot games
That being said, I'll probably try it out whenever I don't feel like playing comp since it's BO24 instead of 30 but the simple fact that there are abilities and at the moment specific utilities are reserved for specific characters (smokes are reserved for one hero character), I'm a bit sceptic.

>Character looks chinese
Not hiding is being made by chinks, huh?

>valorant wasn't sponsored you fucking retards
Right, they just gave exclusive access to "influencers" and threatened them with "no more freebies from Riot or its affiliates for as long as you live if you fuck this up".

Nobody with over a thousand viewers is dumb enough to tell one of the biggest companies around to go fuck themselves. They'd be blackballed from every event, ever. Streaming is not just "lol watch this dude in his basement" anymore, it's corporate bullshit and paid acting.

Counter-strike boomers are shaking in their boots, they're trying so hard to force the meme that this game is bad. They can't stand games that have moved on from the year 2004.

>and threatened them with "no more freebies from Riot or its affiliates for as long as you live if you fuck this up".
source? that's fucked up if true

she a gook

I hope it'll be fun for a good bit of time before a meta develops and it ends up being an ability/ult war of attrition than an FPS game. I'm 50-50 on them because I think they're OP, but everyone else tells me they're no different than grenade usage in CS so I'm not sure.

Attached: ETBXT2vXQAAsVgY.jpg (720x519, 43.55K)

Absolutely passionless, committee-designed focus group product. Pretty much the most sterile-looking game in years.

winkwinkoinkoink

Literally paying someone money isn't the only way to pay them for playing their game. They allow these people first crack at new characters, or let them come to conventions, give them swag bag bullshit, etc. They do the same thing with game reviewers, sure you get a reviewer copy of the game, but you won't get an early copy of our next game if rate it poorly, would be a shame for you to lose all those clicks desperate for the first bit of information and screenshots of a game.

Nigger, valorant streams reached almost 1M when people had the opportunity to receive Early access by watching Riot approved streams. Viewer numbers went to 34K when the giveaway was delayed to 7th of april.

most of them seem like stuff that aids your aiming and shooting desu. Even that ability with the knives is essentially a scout without movement penalty, you still gotta click on their head to kill them

Read between the lines, cunt. Nobody out there is dumb enough to make a story out of what is purely an implication, but what companies are doing to streamers is no different to what publishers did to reviewers back in the days when magazines still existed.

clips.twitch.tv/DeliciousSmoggyPeanutMingLee

Are you stoned? The game is just the Warcraft mod from Counter Strike

Nothing Yas Forums says "its going to blow up" is ever going to blow up

See
>Artifact
>TemTem
>KingdomCome Deliverance
>Mount and Blade
>various autochess games
>various card games

CS Warcraft Mod, now that was an ability shooter

Attached: 1356336507199.png (645x773, 66.52K)

what does this prove? sounds like team drama to me

>Flopped
>no idea
>sold a fuckton of copies and made a profit
>4th most played game on steam
>true
>true
ehhh...mixed bag, desu.

so we've moved from
>riot paid streamers
to
>streamers only streamed it because riot would execute their family if they diding
to
>they give them goodie bags to play!!!!!

you are schizophrenic

The only thing it'll blow up is OW's shrinking playerbase.

cstrannies mad they won't be able to cheat in this game

>modern gayfare
>leage of overwatch fortress
>competetive
dumb underage cawadoody baby, as always
lurk more

Will it have dedicated servers?
depending of the answer i will be interested or not.

yes, of course. 128 tick and everything

In a gook game made by a, now, gook company. Hakuna Matata

Sorry user. Dedicated servers are a buzzword.

Literally nobody is saying this. Are you retarded?

I'll probably play it if it can run 144fps on a 1080ti. It's free right?
Looks like shit, but I crave a new multiplayer shooter and Insurgency: Sandstorm sucks.

>mad
Games like that contain kids and shitters away from the good multiplayer games. I'm totally fine with it.

Once it comes out everyone will give it a try. The anti cheat is cool for low level players and top level players. 128 is a nice bonus. Abilities don't seem too broken from what I have seen. It looks to me though that tagging players is way too strong and the movement seems just a bit too slow. I am also interested in how they will deal with smurfs, but I haven't heard them say much about that.

>that fucking orc nade butthurt
>teleporting out of the map sniping from the skybox
>that shadow hunter nigga that sets up all of his traps in the necessary chokepoints
>invisible niggas stacking in a corner
>"GUYS THERES A FUCKING MOLE AAAA"
good times, i can't believe it took over 15 years until someone finally made counterstrike with shitty abilities a standalone thing

youtube.com/watch?v=HjdzrKpCwRA

WCSGO is fucking awful. So many retarded abilities its nuts. I also hate that all the servers have huge level limits to play certain classes, so its just p2w.

they are promoting it because they want to, they're not being paid for it by riot

oh you sweet summer child

i didnt even try it. csgo is so fucking soulless i pretty much dropped the game after the beta thinking that it was just a really shitty source.
tried it a few times after people told me it was fixed but it's still garbage

They're promoting it due to the potential monetary gain, which is really no different from taking kickbacks.

Nobody is playing this game because it looks interesting. They're playing it because Tencent has deep pockets.

>NOOOO I SAID THEY WERE PAID FOR IT SO THEY ARE NOW YOU LISTEN TO ME

Attached: soy223.png (242x520, 37.49K)

wait a second, do you have to unlock champs in valorant?

tryna get 100 subs
youtube.com/watch?v=lSDO5nCJkbo&list=PL9Ie9MgSCcKrvDv6du5yqNpXbV3OI0Myw&index=2&t=7s

>They're promoting it due to the potential monetary gain
you can say that about any streamer streaming anything, doesn't shroud stream csgo due to potential monetary gain (since it's his biggest game I'm assuming)?
