Not only are Remake 2/3 canon, but the originals are no longer canon.

Scenario A and B contradict each other. They can't both be cannon but they can't also both be non cannon since the events of B are referenced in A and vice verse. So they do both happen. But they also contradict each other and can't both happen.

Did you not notice Annette dying differently in a way that doesn't make sense? She shoots Ada and dies in Leon's campaign even though in Claire's campaign, she dies next to Sherry. You also solve the same puzzles, fight the same bosses, and pretty much go the same paths as each character.

Not him but there primary problem is that after RPD 1 the events of both B scenarios happen exactly the same as both A scenarios. The worst example being Annette Birkin. So in Claire's scenario Annette dies creating the cure to save Sherry but she also dies shooting Ada to prevent the G virus from getting out in Leon's scenario. So which death is canon? Mr. X dies midway through Claire's scenario to G2 but he's still around and chasing Leon in his scenario. Is there more than one running around the RPD? Also both Leon and Claire witness Birkin's transformation into G3 at the same time.

Some of the boss encounters repeat 1 to 1 in A and B, how do they come back to exactly the same spot in exactly the same state despite that spot being trashed and them being injured in A? The scene with Tyrant shoving away the helicopter to get to you occurs in both A and B, so which one was real? Did he put that helicopter back after scenario A? Most of B makes no fucking sense, doesn't even attempt to make sense.
