this is true, started after the last big steam update that changed the UI, for instance launching steam (you start as offline) then setting status to invisible will reset your last online status or briefly show you as online. it's broken and has been for a long time, no idea why valve wont fix it

MW2. Got banned for Wallhacks/ a mod menu and dicking around with Harrier.esps to control harriers. Went to MPGH and downloaded the vac ban patch. Works like butter. But there's no work around to host games again. So no force kicking and force host options. Also MPGH has plenty of vac bypass patches for older and some newer games
