Metro Exodus

It feels like a slower version of Far Cry. I don't understand the hype for it, isn't terrible but nothing great

What does Yas Forums think of it?

Good graphics that were wasted since you can't see Anna's titties

Felt like a watered down STALKER. I really wanted to go and explore the Volga and Caspian regions but every time I got into deepest part of a marked point there would only be crafting materials and some ammo. I think the gameplay was fine, pretty much more LL but I didnt like the emphasis on the crafting system.

One of the best games of all time.

I think this is my biggest problem with the game, you don't really get much for exploring. There isn't really anything interesting to visit in the open world levels, its literally the linear story places and then some bandit outposts & broken houses

idk I just got an xbox and got game pass and drank some beers and then my wife had some bouncy ass tits - like they clearly spent time developing the tit bounce for every time the character moved in a cutscene.

can any developers fill me in on this process? Did they actually code in a tit bounce manually every time the tits bounced? Or was it more of a heuristic process? If so, how do you think it was done?

it's pretty mediocre
What's the point of a open world if it's empty? They should have sticked to the lineal progress of the first two games

5/10

Only good map is the first one, and even then it's just watered down stalkan. The game picks up a bit towards the end, but the overall impression it left was still mediocre. I was kind of glad to be done with it.

I think we literally just had this thread, why spam it? The consensus was that it's pretty good, the train sections are comfy and that caspian sea feels a little bit out of place, but isn't terrible by itself.

Also it's trainkino

also turning on bad weather mutation is great

Caspian didn't really feel out of place to me. I liked that Exodus tried to take you through all the sights of Russia. And there are plenty of deserts towards the east.

why do you lie user?

It was game of the year for me, one of the most immersive FPS in at least a decade

Based

I don't think it's a perfect game by any means but the gameplay is solid enough, I like the idea of the train being a hub and the foundation of your progress and the graphics with everything turned on are really quite the thing to experience. It made going to each new area more interesting for me.

The DLCs are a must as well. Two Colonels ending is manly tears kino.

It's the same engine as last light and you can see her nude in that

In fact there's a POV sex cutscene involving her

the music on this scene is so fucking great

this one too:

pretty much how I feel, the train stuff was way more interesting than I expected it to be towards the start. not having every major character drop their entire lives to come join you was cool too, that stuff tends to get used a bit much in games

I enjoyed the references to Viktor Tsoi and Kino when you pick up a tune on the radio and also when you get drunk with the Captain in Sam's Story.

did the developers leave this in or is it a mod?

i'm pretty sure it's in the base game but they've changed the camera angle? at least from what I remember

it's in the base game, but it requires a mod that allow you to use the photo mode during cutscenes, apparently someone gave her perfect textures and modelling for her nipples just for the fun of it since you can't see them during the game...

Maybe they planned to do more with it? I remember people didn't really like the one in LL much so could have been a removed sex scene or post-sex scene or something.

It's on the train when she has rad poisoning and they have to get the mucus plug out of her

The Slaver Prison was kino.

maybe, there is probably an adjustment in target age rating during development so why not to model the asset 100% and have it ready if there is any need to use it...

Yeah I thought the same, I can't imagine the effort to model a few extra details is super high

are there any cool/spooky easter eggs in the game?

When will it be on sale for PS4?

09/11 easter egg, there is a bottle in august 1991 (either Estonia/Latvia/Lithuania independency or 1991 Soviet coup d'état attempt reference)

cock condoms

It's the next best thing to STALKER.

If only they make it more open world where you can travel to different locations back and forth by the train.

Lots of environmental storytelling and you can find random haunted houses where you'll see shadowpeople and hear sounds.

dead Gordon Freeman

there is several others

are you Russian user? do you know if this lady is a reference to some famous Russian hottie of just a "random 80's movie hot girl" art?

Attached: anastasiia-tkach-soviet-poster-001-final.jpg (1882x2048, 1.06M)

Are they done with the DLCs or more are coming in the near future?

PS if you didn't play a song on the guitar for the admiral then you aint my nigga.

Attached: admiral.jpg (1920x1080, 314.88K)

Probably just random 80s movie hot girl. There are a lot of pinup girls in the game.

Well produced. Sort of grindy. Good, characters, writing, settings, graphics atmosphere.

Way more fun to play on easy

Yeah but make sure to turn off the hud like in ranger mode because the reticule is really bad. Also Ironmode it up at least if you're gonna play on easy.

jesus christ, this woman

I got to the first open area where you meet the guy one the crane and got stuck in some of the rail car geometry while the ghouls hit me to death. Felt like I was playing Fallout 3 a decade ago so I just dropped it.

Met her at TIFF the other year. She's a lot shorter than I realized.

You sure do post a lot.

Git gud. This isn't an Unreal Engine game where you can just skate over everything because you're on a flat plane and everything is flat textures. You will get stuck if you don't jump over things or use your momentum.

Attached: caspian.jpg (1920x1080, 631.96K)

It's not like that was the only problem. I walked up to a boat and had to do the whole mash x shit for the same mutant crab animation 3 times in a row. The whole bit with the church was also dumb. You roll up and the NPCs you were there to save just go off on their own. None of it is really well done.

You're still learning the ropes. You haven't seen what this game has to offer yet. There's a lot of variability in the strategies you can employ and the way you move through the levels. You only really appreciate it when you replay it and try to see everything you missed. Just take your time with it.

you mean the shrimp that spit shit at you? yeah they're fucking annoying, worst part of the game in my opinion. I didn't really experience any getting stuck in geometry though so can't comment on that, movement all felt fine to me. No idea how you could think it's like fallout 3 honestly.

Beat the game last week. The move to open world just felt half ass, like you walk/drive/swim from point A to point B just to listen to NPCs talk.

absolutely fucking based

>Listen up everyone, the Barron is about to speak
>Listen up everyone, the Barron is speaking

I'm waiting for it to go on sale to buy it, it looks like the closest thing to what I get from stalker but in consoles

You can take a hit from a hooka in the caspian level and the baby dark one will come out of a tv. Also throughout the final level you can see a dark one watching you from a distance and guiding you.. Theres also a baby in a carriage in Novosibirsk that breaths for some reason.

Get 2033 and Last Light first. They're usually sold for cheap together (at least on PC) and IMO they're better than Exodus. Open world didn't really do anything for Metro, I'm hoping there's a more linear sequel.

I already have them and I've completed them plenty of times, so exodus is the only one that's missing

Post apocalyptic open world game is never a good idea, stalker is the only game I know of to get it right, even then it's a much smaller area. Empty map, shitty driving, too many set pieces. I enjoyed the plot though, 6/10

Is exodus worth buying now thats it is $20?
Does it have the same retarded shit as the other games where if you want to get the good ending you have to do a bunch of trivial bullshit that you can easily miss, and will be fucked if you forget even one?

It’s not as trivial as in the previous games. Just make sure to talk to character and you’ll get a good understanding on what the good choices are.
