Switch+PC is the most wasteful combo available because:
>ports are extremely shit and more costly in comparison
>has zero apps which means you're going to buy a third product to use any of those apps on the go
>have to deal with nintendo's unreliability in networking when you're already used to the gold standard, enjoy getting fucked over because you bought digital
>zero third party games of value because they're all just on xbox/ps, which means you have to buy them on pc exclusively but that might mean waiting a year for the port or dealing with substantial performance issues and so on
>have to ignore both the WiiU and Switch emulators which are getting insanely good even at mediocre PC hardware and swallow paying full price for a game released in 2017

It's really only worth it if you're already getting fucked pretty deep by Nintendo and have wet dreams of Link and Mario... in which case enjoy gay bowser.

PS4 is mostly good for fighting games and just if you prefer playing on a tv THAT much but for me it ruins the atmosphere in some games like horror shit.

You play ports for mostly portable value or switching between portable and tv mode easily, and some are shit, some are good enough for a handheld but at the same time you could argue if they are worth it just for that when a better pc is available.
Ports like Alien Isolation, grid, skyrim, doom 2016( despite people shitting on it's framerate - it's very good tho not 60 fps) are very good, some like la noire run well enough and look good as well but are very poorly ported like they have too many bugs or you could tell that switch definitely could have played it better, etc.
The worst port i played on a switch (and i bought a lot of them) is probably bloodstained, it runs like fucking shit. At the same time, game like Xenoblade 2 runs like shit in handheld mode as well, despite made for the console itself.

Because some games just doesn't work well or shouldn't be played portable. Some games require that immersion which doesn't really work well when you're on the go and on a small screen.
For example i could play Doom on PC, fully immersed with my headphones with my big monitor, i could see everything and nothing can disturb me. Or i could play Doom on switch, while on my way to work, i'm on a train and right now i'm in a fight with the demons, suddenly the train arrives at my stop and i have to stop the game mid fight to get off. He lies the problem

Even a damn tablet/phone with AMD Link or Steam Link or whatever those things are called will do exactly that. Snap on a cheap controller clip, there you go you've got premium PC gaming in portable fashion AND at much higher quality AND get to customize it to your liking.
I'm sorry, but even when the ports are good you're literally paying double price for them JUST so you can "play them on the go" that isn't fucking worth it.

Yeah, PS4 is honestly where I go to play most fighting games and AAA titles, outside of a handful of ones I know are optimized like shit.
It also helps that it's easy to pick up most of the exclusives on the cheap. PS+ is also incredibly generous.
Switch is nice because it's just easiest to pick up and play shit with, I use it for most indies I want to play.
