I can't really talk. I mostly played TDM and S&D. I think the greater shame is how bad a lot of the newer maps had been the last time I played. Seemed like they were either just tiny clusterfucks like the junkyard map or big sniper maps with no cover or flanking.
The days of playing coastal rooftops, the power station, and other, similarly large maps seemed to have passed.

I used to play the shit out of combat arms back in the day. I would exclusively play in melee-only lobbies so I had like a 10.0 k/d and around a 90% headshot ratio. I eventually got banned for hacking even though I never did.
