Because I’m working 2 essential jobs so I’m not stuck at home, you lucky ass bitch

that's right coding cucks, make more games for me hahahaha

I'm too autistic to work with anyone.

So I'm learning everything myself. Modeling, textures, map design. It's a rigorous process.

should've stayed in school

But I am, I'm just slow as shit.

>ywn be in quarantine with a qt working on your dream game

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Attached: Ryan Gosplan.jpg (1024x572, 32.51K)

didn't this pic expose this bitch as a retarded pretender?

nah

I looked her up, shes only cute from this one angle. shes a 6/10 otherwise

>have free time
>i'll start tomorrow
>do it
>lose motivation after 3 days
>repeat
i'll never get out of this cycle until i start uni

I'm having trouble with character design. how do you make a cool fantasy enemy

Imagine being a woman pretending to know how to code just so she can be worshiped by beta males

Imagine being female and pretending to know how to code

I'm into mixing audio and would love to help out with people's shitty autistic games but it's always hard to get people to trust you on the interwebs.

I am actually

A fool and his money soon depart. You don't need a uni, you need a fucking schedule and probably an ass kicking. Fat loans and owed money aren't motivation. They are burdens. Wake up retard.

>Trying to learn webdev but too distracted despite knowing java

what's something pajeet-like I could do with java that would be impressive that isn't just "Make a fucking database for the millionth time"

no

i'm not american so i can afford uni without turning into an hobo

seethe, nodev.

Attached: nodevbtfo.jpg (196x236, 10K)

same

This doesn't prove anything. What games have you released?

>Rpg makes
Wow it’s fuckinh nothing

Hentai Senpai’s Journey to MuLung

cuz I'm working from home and there's only so much mental effort I can put into programming in a day, so its all dedicated to work

because making yet another derivative game due to an innate lack of creativity seems really boring and an incredibly poor investment of my time

>be a doctor
>still have to go to work and risk being infected
>i somewhat enjoy what i do for a living but always fantasize about studying math/physics like i wanted to, at least i wouldn't risk killing myself and/or my family over an infectious disease
>at least i have money

it is a weird feeling

Is it more of a hobby or do you want to do it professionally? Do you have a team?

Hell yeah I'm working on it
Check out this bad boy right here.
I can already see the number of digits on my bank account increasing

I need to get a new computer. I'm running an old cheap prebuilt from 2011. It was outdated then and it's even worse now because all the hardware is failing, all the usb ports and the other parts in the back. I was gonna build a new computer until I lost my work hours. Now that I'm getting a stimulus check I still don't think I'm gonna build a computer because all my parts are gonna be delayed for months.

this is literally me except i spent 1.5 years on a game and actually semi-finished it. only haven't been working on it since i want to start a more difficult project

Because i'm a retard with no drive.

I am.

Ehi I'm on the same boat.
I can project the code easily because i already have experience but before trying to make a game I had zero (0) artistic experience. I picked blender some months ago; when you have a general idea of what is going on is pretty funny, expect weight paint. FUCK WEIGHT PAINT. Only recently I have found out that i shouldn't mess too much with blender material and shaders because unity can't import them.
I'm so glad the documentation is well written.
What are your ideas guys?

>like writing stories and drawing
>complete IT brainlet; didn't even build my own PC

I think I know what are you talking about.
It was about a girl posting on twitter that coding is hard, but she only opened a shell with some cd and ls in it

>now that you're at the base of this mountain, why don't you try climbing it while doing a handstand?

Working on my mod. It's just simple changes to weapons so far but I'm slowly learning how things work as I go. Should've done this years ago before the plague.

user if you plan to go to uni to become a professionist that's good, but do not go to uni because you want to make games.
Every uni is different of course, but here you'll learn a lot of stuff you don't really need to make a game.

What's the best resource to become somewhat competent in python? Already decided not to pursue cs professionally but I really want to learn more for hobby purposes.

I work in the publishing division for a studio which makes what once was my dream game. Novelty has worn off.

Got a job offer from a bigger studio. Will start that in six weeks. None of the games will be my dream game, but it'll be the step I need to be able to work on my dream games in future.

>but here you'll learn a lot of stuff you don't really need to make a game
That's the point, you become employable in other fields too.

I didn't express myself properly.
What i meant is do not go to uni if you ONLY want to make games.
But of course going in decent CS course will let you work at any level (from the circuits to the next bullshit buzzword)

What do you want to do with? Do you know anything programming?

Take things that scare you IRL and make them into a character.

I'm a talentless incel loser so I come to Yas Forums instead to complain about other people who do what I can't

Anybody else get an auto-headache the moment they think about working on their game? Level design is a bitch.

Without a degree, I'd simply recommend joining entry-level in QA or Customer Support and work diagonally into other areas.

I'm writing my dream novel it sucks

I'm too busy coming up with trillions of ideas just to forget them in the next moment

Attached: ideaguy.jpg (322x307, 16.33K)

I can program but I have no skill, talent, or knowledge on how to make a visually appealing game.

I guess I can make it work

Attached: 7_ynp9t4qikn.jpg (650x650, 61.25K)

try simple n64 graphics. a cube with a texture pasted onto it. it has its own asthetic

I'm a 2d artist/3d artist/animator/designer with no ideas and no coding skills. I don't want to work for faggot idea guys who post in these threads, how hard is it to learn a basic game maker program? I can actually make it look really nice but I'm coming in with literally 0 programming knowledge.

I'm about to start working on my game, but before I do what are some pitfalls to avoid in terms of game design or content? Is there any attribute or look to a game that immediately makes you not want to purchase it?

>web dev
>no idea why people become video game devs
>pay is a 1/3 of web dev for harder work and less bennies
Why would you ever?

same. unity game kits are easy to do if you don't mind working in the boundries they set up. rpg maker is the easiest 2d to understand

About to get started on my map. How big should my tiles be?

Unity doesn't take a cut as long as you're making poverty dollars right? Is it a good engine to start learning? I don't want to get caught up in licensing bullshit.

I'd love to, but I've got a newborn at home and that means no periods of prolonged concentration. My progress has stalled out since he was born.

hapa bitchoid fucking weeb worshipping losers
