Is there a developer that you 100% trust?

Is there a developer that you 100% trust?

No

Zachtronics?

I trust Capcom to disappoint me continuously.

THQ Nordic

Fuck no.
Though I guess Yoko Taro hasn't let me down yet.

No, because the company is just an empty name without the people behind it and even they aren't incorruptible.

elex

SuperGiant Games
Some of their shit might be weirder than others, but are almost all 8/10 or higher.

I trust Gearbox to make Borderlands games no matter who Randy shits on or gets shat on by.
I trust Nintendo to always have something decent for me to play on any console they make at any point in time.
I trust Riot Games to keep pumping out waifu content for League of Legends.
I trust EA to convince me not to buy their latest games unless it's Titanfall.
I trust Ubisoft to convince me not to install U-Play.
I trust Bethesda to pump out garbage and have modders turn it into something wonderful.
I trust Japanese pervert Circles to keep making wonderful H-rpgs that I can't read dialogue for.
I trust Weeb fan translators to keep translating Japanese H-rpgs so I can read the dialogue.
I trust mobile game devs to give me free games while not buying any of their microtransactions unless I legitimately enjoy their game and think they deserve the money. (Very, very few, but they do exist)

You absolutely can 100% trust in a developer, you just have to be realistic with your expectations and be sure of exactly what it is you're placing your faith in.

team cherry

have you tried Hades yet? Technically its still early access, but its more finished than many released games

your post was smelly and gay

Seen it, haven't played it.
Looks solid.

fromsoft

No.
But I do like Klei Entertainment, Subset Games, and Zachtronics

>Why yes, Dark Souls II will look like this
>And Bloodborne runs smoothly
They make good games, but they're not 100% honest.

team cherry

Nintendo, and I get fucked from time to time
t. bought link's awakening

No.

I literally laughed when I read your post. Blizzard was once a developer that I would rush out and buy games from without even thinking. Now I'm ashamed that I ever gave them my credit card number

happy lamb barn

I trust EA and Activision.

Not really. There are definitely developers I trust significantly more than the average (Yoko Taro, Shōzō Kaga, Daisuke Ishiwatari) but there's always gonna be some natural uncertainty about them, and dev teams are subject to change constantly. Obsidian are the best example in my opinion; from the heights of New Vegas and Alpha Protocol to mediocrity with Pillars of Eternity and finally FUBAR via The Outer Worlds

I trust modern FROM 100%

CDPR

They might try new things I can't appreciate as much as I did their previous game but their soul is always there
I wasn't thrilled by Pyre's gameplay but everything was worth the purchase

Yacht Club

>All these Team Cherry answers
They've made one game, and turned an expansion into a second one.
You can't judge them based on HK alone.

aren't they publishers tho?

not anymore
used to trust a lot

I trust id to actually make games that they promise and for the final product to be as good as they hype it up to be.
They literally have 0 bad games.

Not anymore, got a real bad feeling about Cyberpunk
Is that the Switch version?

Atlus & Falcom but they need to fuck off with the DLC costumes and just include them in the game.

>What is Doom 3 and Doom 3 BFG
2016 and Eternal were amazing though

That pic is based

There's no such thing as trust in a consumer relationship. There's only expectations, and whether they're met or not met. The only developer I "trust" to consistently meet my expectations is Sandlot.

I wish I could, but you can't trust anyone when money is involved.

Honestly remember Witcher 3 looking more the the right / top pictures but it has been years since I last played it

fpbp

Rage is pretty bad

>trust another human
Worst mistake ever

Yeah you should seek anger management classes if you have a problem with it

I trust several developers to be untrustworthy.

DOOM 3 isn't a bad game. BFG as an addition, however, shits on the established game. Let's not forget that Resurrection of Evil, that's also fun.
I always liked DOOM 3, even if it was different.

The team from streets of rogue

I swear 90% of the downgrades could be fixed if they just got a better shader

I've been dark souls 2 like 5 times trying to "get it" and this moment has never EVER happened to me

Running With Scissors. It's weird to say, but they are probably the only honest devs in the industry.

arkane
>fallout
additional work, literally a footnote in game dev

Attached: .png (1636x389, 39.88K)

Probably From or Vanillaware, if I had to choose.

Saying DOOM 3 is bad is just idiotic parroting (Yas Forums in other words). RoE is awesome, by the way.

Is this kind of lighting really that intensive on hardware? I feel like fixed lighting and shadows would fix everything as nothing is moving other than the player's shadow.

>Animal Crossing
>Breath of the Wild
>Mario Oddyssey
>Smash Bros Ultimate
Nintendo.

fixed lighting takes a lot of time
