Extremely low IQ here, how do you get money? I've been trying to buy green sell red but it hasn't gone that well.

Ok bros, what went so right?

The easiest way to get money before getting a fief is a workshop. You will need multiple if you are fielding a bigger army, as they typically make only around 200-300 hundred a day.
You'll need anywhere between 13-15k gold to buy one out. You'll want to buy one in a region that is as stable as possible. Take a look at what are villages around cities primarily producing. Find a town that has several villages producing the same resource in close proximity, or one high-value resource (silver, hardwood etc.) REALLY close by.
Take a look at what the worshops currently present in the town make. If there is one using the locally available resource, you'll have to buy it out and keep the production. If there isn't one taking advantage of the resources, buy whichever is cheapest, and switch it to the locally availble one.
Done. Within few days, the workshop should start turning out profit.

>tfw i though 8gb ram was enough

PC Kino got put back on the menu after years of multiplats.

Melt weapon sell steel for shit ton of money, bash more heads in for more weapon. Its an infinite money loop.

I made good money off of betting on myself in arenas and selling the gear.

once I had a decent army (50+ of t3+) I took a castle and starting earning that fief money.

It has been so long since I played unmodded Warband that I actually forgot I'd need to fill my castle with garrisons if I didn't want it to be immediately retaken by the enemy. Is there any easier way of doing that now?
I really can't be arsed dumping my actually good army just to train up a bunch of peasant retards to sit in a castle scratching their arses and squandering my money all day, is there no way to make a companion do it or make the castle gather its own troops?

>play as a khuzait steppe waifu
>join the horse fuckers as a mercenary
>they are at war with the northern empire and the aserai
>get absolutely fat off raiding villages and capturing stray lords while everyone is busy doing big boy shgit like battles and sieges
>suddently peace, im bleeding money because my cool raider army has a high mantainance
Now i know how the japanese samurai felt in the early 1900, do mercenary contracts expire over time or i gotta make my khan mad by terminating the contract myself and look for greener pastures somewhere else?

Its an exploit but since the training of new shit is so bad right now heres hows. Create a new party using a member, drain all their troops, send them to disband in your castle and put them back into party. Since it cost you nothing to make a new party and troops magically appear for free, you only have to pay wages. Repeat until you have desired amount of troops for garrison or just give out troops lords to like you better. It beats running around villages recruiting shit. Still an exploit so thats up to you, I like to train my guys in combat for the flavor.

Get yourself a workshop, it prints money

How much better has blobbing got with the patches?
I want to go the comfy trader-route for the start, and not worry about the khan going temujin like my other games before.

How long will I have to wait for the game to be 20 bucks?

I'm paying the game solo atm.

Is Yas Forums simping for Bannerturd because they got paid to?
Because they need to justify a shit purchase?
Or do they do it for free? Or worse, pay for the privilege?

>selling the gear
As long as you dont sell the horses user then its all okay.

Sell prisoners.

It's better now but there's still some chance one faction will destroy everyone else easily.

dumb anime poster

>How much better has blobbing got with the patches?
It's a lot better, but it's not properly fixed yet, it will happen eventually. Starting a completely fresh game will delay it the most.

Basically, they fixed the lords to be actually efficient with their resources, meaning they won't be knocked out after losing a single fight. Gaining momentum in a war now requires several major victories in a row, which is much harder to achieve. As a result, wars are more ballanced and peace is signed more often.

However, the fix does not resolve the core issues, which the lack of global diplomacy. There are still no alliances, no global threat awareness, no reasons to sign peace beyond stalemate. If one kingdom starts to gain momentum, they will eventually start blobbing the map. It's especially bad if you are playing on a save where the blobbing has already started - hence why it works best on a new character all together.

So far the quick and dirty fix has bought us several years before the snowball gets out of controls, in my experience. Two, three, maybe more. If / when the blob starts is now much more RNG, and if you are lucky you may see the game run for 10 years without it, but you might get unlucky and see it starting in like four or five years ingame time. Once it starts rolling, it can take another two or three years before it's out of control completely.

Its so much better now.

So basically they had no idea how to design the system that they based the majority of the game around? Cool.

Husnphree is here.

Attached: Husnphree.png (800x692, 567.6K)

Nah, they have a good idea how the system is supposed to work, it's just that they haven't implemented parts of it before releasing the game into EA, as they rather plainly intend to test features in bits by bits. Global diplomacy is properly designed, and seems to be implemented in major parts, but much of it is disabled for now. Like many other features in the game - the skills that aren't activated, even models and textures that simply are still missing.
The issue is not in design, design seems to be fine, but the execution and the roadmap they drafted for the EA is messy as fuck to put it generously.

Southern Kingom I'm part of has only single town and castle left... All because no other lord came to defend when unwashed lords of Western Empire just came to cap everything.

because its fun

>Nah, they have a good idea how the system is supposed to work
kek

>how do you get money
Looting and human trafficking.

>get a free attribute point every 3 levels
I'm level 10 now and I'm pretty sure I only got a single point so far. Man, this game is broken beyond belief. I don't think I've ever played anything this badly fucked ever.

>That one obsessed user crying over one of the most successful games of 2020
Absolutely based, notice how he has said nothing of substance whatsoever despite hating the game with such a passion?

Great post, dude, really a contribution to this board.

Sounds good, thanks for the answers.
Guess I'll start up a new one then, and hope I can get somewhere with my char before the blobbing starts.

4 levels*

Your own character's leveling/xp/whatever curve is just really broken. It's extremely slow in comparison to pretty much anything else.

That's perfect, thanks.

Southern Empire seems to get fucked to death in everyone's playthrough even with snowballing mitigated.

Bannerlord seems pretty smooth right now. What bugs are you noticing?
The only things that are really fucked are skills and smithing. Smithing which is fucked because smithing progression is so slow.
>Retarded shitposter has no opinion

You DID make your own banner, right Yas Forums?

Attached: 1488.png (1920x1080, 1.66M)

I have fat stacks of cash and a castle as well as a town, with the accompanying villages, to my name. My plan was to take the Vlandians for a ride and just dip out once I had enough land and power to survive on my own before raising the Dragon Banner. The only problem is that I'm wondering if I can feasibly marry into another family with holdings and increase our clan relation to the point that I can secede and flip them. Is this a feasible strategy or should I just make peace with cutting ties and having all the Vlandians hate me? It's -40 to leave but I don't know how marriage would affect that or if, by voting in their favor, I can increase their relation to the point that they'll side with me.
Or am I going about this all wrong?

Invest in WOODCOIN

laughing my ass off at wagies, especially at times like this

I have 15k denars, should I invest in workshop to keep money flowing or recruit troops and start attacking? How many troops you actually need to take settlements and castles?

Nice site.

Have they fixed leveling leadership/scouting yet? Have they been doing updates much at all? I know they "fixed" wood workshops pretty fast.

Endgame is boring

>Smithing which is fucked
I'm actually more than fine with it, I see it as a necessity to keep players from spamming black-smithing income. Any time you don't put limits on players, they exploit the system and then complain it's broken. The only change I'd make is that I'd tweak it so that stamina regenerates at 1/4 speed when out in the world.

Share the code NS bro

How long should I wait before getting this? I don't wanna play it at this state.

>tfw have to establish an entire trade network just to land myself a bow that every single step bandit uses
This shit is a tremendous setback for a horsefucker

It's very playable now but if you want to wait maybe wait a year or for a few major updates which will add new mechanics.

>pic related
>pop boner
rape mods when?

>have 50 highly trained elite infantry with amazing skills and armor
>fight few forest bandits for fun
>6 archers kill like 20 of my men with their fucking shitty bows

c'mon now

Several crashes, especially in sieges. I joined an army and when it broke up it left my character unable to enter cities or interact with anything on the world map. Perks not working. Quests sequence breaking e.g. the family feud started a fight and before anyone could attack at all it immediately went to the surrender dialogue. Some troops not having proper stats. Prosperity is just a mess and my fief with a modest garrison gets like negative 40 food per day when the food production action creates 2 per day. High level equipment just doesn't spawn in cities. I see a lot of messages about " is pregnant", there is no name. Every once in a while the map just flashes for a split second and it shows a green midday aesthetic even if you're in a snowy area at night. Faction leader constantly giving himself fiefs with 0% support. And many more, these are just off the top of my head and doesn't even include the ridiculous shit that somehow made it into release like hundreds of items not being implemented or spawning inside of a siege map during a field battle.

Forest bandits are ridiculous, I always steer clear of them.

Sure, if you live in a city with both iron and hardwood producing villages nearby or bound to it then making unlimited money shouldnt be possible. However with how slow smithing is to level up adding a fucking stamina cost is garbage.

archers are OP as all fuck in this game and melee has been nerfed to shit, weapons like maces and hatchets are borderline non-viable now

Forest Bandits OP pls nerf

I conquered the world with the southern empire. Like really fucking quickly.

Don't put them in a position where they can get picked off.

any in particular?

I'm Jewish; how likely is it that this will go even more on sale in the near future?

imagine getting btfo by robin hood and his merry men lmfoa

Either tap an untapped market, or buy out an already succesful one.
Look at the local resource production, and what the product would sell for. Like grain production is high, but no beer is sold? Get a brewery then. Or they already sell beer at middling to high prices? No other breweries nearby then, take over the single existing workshop of the region.

very low
its still early access, will be for months to years, then at full release price will go up, probably 3 years away from cheaper price
unless you get real lucky with summer steam sale

extremely low IQ here, how do i check what resources a village is producing? am i being blind or what i just can't find a page for it.

also the symbols under the village names on the world map everyone seems top have either a pitch fork or 2 or a gold coin, what do these mean?

Anyone got the webm of the full army slaughtering the bandit camp leader?

>Prosperity is just a mess and my fief isnt getting enough food
Because your villages were raid.
>faction leader giving himself fiefs
Faction leaders can do that, it requires influence and makes everyone mad at you.
The rest are legitimate bugs, though you dont need me to tell you that.
Ive encountered every single bug youve mentioned apart from perks not working and the siege crashes.
Honestly the real problem is the balance for skills and the lack of kingdom management. Which they dont even do for a week because of all the other issues.
>all this ridiculous shit getting into release
How about UNAVOIDABLE save corruption, they clearly didnt test the campaign mode at all compared to the battles themselves.

Why do i sound like a fucking ESL?

I'll never be that Bannerlord. At most I'll be a minor lord with one or maybe two fiefs.

More like Robin Hood and 50 more Robin Hoods with 100% accuracy

>have a mod that makes helmets invisible
>won't work with the new patch
thank you Turkey very cool

1. Learn to abuse circlestrafing counter-clockwise to win every 1v1 guaranteed
2. Enter tournament after tournament
3. Pray you don't get 2v2s with a retarded teammate that runs up and dies immediately
4. ???
5. profit

I'm sure the modder will update as well

How do you counter steppe horse archers, Yas Forums? I am trying to start my game helping the Northern Empire hold them off but the imbalance of troop types makes it seem impossible unless I can luck out and find a mountain or hill to camp.
