I know there is a meh console sequel but I want it on the mustard race
Good shit my dudes
Man, playing Nox back in the day was a blast
What games even do different class starts nowadays
well, a lot of RPGs I guess
I dont play many new Games actually, so I dunno
This shit.
Janky as fuck but great atmosphere and a combat system that seems impossible and unfair at first but becomes pretty great later on in the game once you git gud
dont think it counts as obscure, but it definitely was over looked due to being released roughly the same time as Half Life
Not necesarrily a sequel since it wrapped things up nicely, but the possession mechanic has so much potential I'd love a new game like it
>be 12yo user
>dad gets me this game even tho he doesnt like me playing video games
>it cool as fuck and the environment is comfy as fuck
thanks dad!
maybe not a sequel but this is on the way
There is a sequel
Rengoku 2
Dad?
Commandos/Desperados seems to have spawned a whole genre that's still occasionally being made to this day
recent shadow tactics is bretty gud not gonna lie
Eastern Eurojank games are kind of kino
i got it for xmas from dad. was surprised to find out it was made by id. never head anyone talk about it though.
:3
>tfw had a game breaking bug that prevented me from ever finishing it as a kid
god I was so mad
>my dad got me Heroes III, Red Alert 2, Disciples II, Desperados and Robin Hood, among others
In retrospect, I should definitely thank my dad for his good intuition (since he hadn't played any of them).
>Robin Hood
>Obscure
You could have at least said Chicago 1930.
Robin Hood and Desperados were the only two good and widely recognised German Commandos-likes before Shadow Tactics. Everyone who has played one knew the other because all the reviews and magazines bunched them together.
and it was bad.
I want a 3rd Drakan game.
I remember this being fun but last time I played it was like 12 years ago yet still like to have a sequel.
Play fighting fantasy: warlock of firetop mountain for ds.
user...
Trying to play the first game like Thief is in unbelievable slog. I like the second one better. More Deus Ex-like in general.
I don't care about the psp spin offs.
Syphon Filter needs 4 sequel or a reboot
There just need to be more Commandos-likes, really. But yeah, this one contributed some nice ideas to the formula and I really liked the setting.
i'm surprised this hasn't at least been remastered. i think people would appreciated a game like this more now than back in the day.
and mimimi is finishing up desperados 3, which should be out this summer. easily my most anticipated game of 2020.
this one looks promising. it's ww2 from soviet perspective. russia really loves this genre.

I'd like a remake of this but as a strategy-action game
Folklore absolutely deserved a real sequel.
Looks exactly like robin hood from shrek.
Kalypso media has confirmed that a new Commando game is in the works.
Not really hoping much from them, i'll waiting more for Shdaow Tactics 2, i mean Desperados 3
I wish this could get a good remaster.
>Jots down games to look into
looks like the devs are giving away keys for shadow tactics during the quarantine.

It's not obscure but it's absolutely baffling to me that the only attention Legacy of Kain has gotten in over a decade is a shitty multiplayer game.
OH MERRY MEEEEEEEEEEN
amazing game, replay it recently and its still hold up well
I've heard it has shitton of issues on new hardware/systems. Is it true?
Another user here, the main problem for me that put me off is mostly the fps issue that it's stuck to 24fps as all game logic behind it is tied to that.
And I wasn't able to fix the resolution higher than the base game without getting wierd shit.
>pick little John on every mission as soon as he is available
>knock out 7 guards with every circle attack
>finish every mission with like 40 tied up guards inside one house
Also the ambushes were kino, really great game and the art style is timeless
I know the Steam and GOG versions both have a weird issue tied to the font which I think impacts the framerate, but there should be an easy fix online.
>only wizards can get the best ending
Truly an enlightened Game
Also give me my fucking Project Nomads sequel already holy shit, just add multiplayer and more building options
>tons of spells
>great multiplayer
>large scale destruction
Magic and Mayhem was ahead of its time
Jesus Christ, i remember playig it as a kid. It was fun. I also remember that i couldnt complete it, because i didnt knew, how i got inside the Castle at night
are thos by any chance the same guys who did the HD remaster of Commandos while removing svastikas and other nazi symbols?
>we live in a timeline where this wasn't a smash hit like x-com(both made by the same developer)
I cry everytime
also it technically has a sequel but it's more like a pre-alpha than a game
>resident evil/silent hills unpopular little brother
can't run it on my PC and emulator scales it down greatly, wat do?
Shadow of Rome
Spartan: Total Warrior
I'm still waiting for the definitive prohibition-era gangster RTT. There's been a bunch of them over the years but none of the ones I've played were particularly great.
Ring of Red
Doesn't GOG fix all their games for modern machines unlike Steam?
please god give me another monster catching game that isn't shit
I don't even want a sequel, I just want a patch that removes all the sneak sequences
>start out as a normal soldier
>turns out you're the embodiment of Ares or something
This game was quite the ride
Mercenaries and walords battlecry.
>is literally the first post
are you blind?
Just look at his name and everything will come clear
