This will never not make me laugh.

Look at this massive plant!

Just the standard edition. Americans got fucked over hard on the special edition.

I will be pirating it. I did buy XC2 physical because that game is ridiculously good. From what I hear, XC1 plays more like your standard generic JRPG so I will be using my homebrew if you know what I mean. I recommend others to do the same and save 60 bucks.

mo
looks like shit compared to xb2

As long as Rex gets into Smash, yeah.

Of course. Getting it physical but still felt like posting this image.

It doesn't play too different from XC2, or rather XC2 doesn't play too different from it, the major difference is how the world is laid out.

Even if Rex gets in Smash we'll likely not get information on it until September at the earliest.

>get torna expansion because I liked the base game
>beat the expansion, pretty cool but the filler was dumb
>try out challenge quests, find out you can fight the brown girl from X
>Find out you have to beat her againto get her crystal
>its literally impossible

I just want my queen my niggas

>definitive edition
>uses lame anime art style instead of the cool art direction of the original
Meh

>friend tells me she got a switch for animal crossing
>casually adds that she wants to get xenoblade chronicle DE
One more copy sold, always saying xenogames are sick pays off finally, you are welcome

set difficulty to easy, set up a dark seal so she can't get reinforcements

>the cool art direction of the original
>implying art direction

Attached: 1577935699304.jpg (2672x1662, 2.6M)

alright but Im gonna assume that if I break it during the party attack thing shes start summoning again

yeah, so you'll want some healing too. just outlast her.

Right, set the orb but don't break it.

Smash is shit

they play pretty similarly actually.

no you faggots already praised xenoblade chronicles 2 as a good game and i trusted you.

all you retards did were beating your meat to anime characters the game itself was fucking bullshit with fucking cringeworthy voice acting.

fuck this bullshit combat system its neither a real jrpg or is it a good live action battle.

Shit taste
I assume English
Get good

If you liked XC2 that much you should probably actually buy XCDE anyway, even if you still like XC2 more, you'll more likely enjoy XC1.

Most people would recommend just cheesing that fight because it's pretty ridiculous

The CE and regular physical copy are sold out in the UK. Guess I'm getting it digitally.

Attached: i really wanted that egg.gif (220x158, 155.1K)

what were your complaints about the battle system? It was my favorite thing about the game.

>regular physical copy are sold out in the UK
Really? That's surprising.

I heard some stuff about mandatory sidequest filler in Torna, I assume it's this Community menu stuff
I've been doing all the sidequests as I go anyways, but how many does the game end up making you do to progress the story? Is it certain ones or just a total number?

Amazon probably didn't order that many. It was difficult to find physical copies of the original Wii game back in the day, too.

I just preordered it yesterday on amazon. I hope they don't delay the game or not deliver it on time because of this virus shit.

>muh monado
the game

You need community level 4

Bronado?

There're 89 in total, but the 89th one is optional you require it only to fight the superbosses.

Attached: bronados.gif (680x366, 158.47K)

original is my favorite wii game and favorite 3ds game, so im very excited to grab this on the switch. i was a little let down by 2, but the best one coming to the console more than makes up for it

Not that user but I really hated how every part of the battle system just felt like setting up orbs for MASSIVE DAMAGE
I know that X1 and X has their meta stuff revolving around topple locking and overdrive. But without those things the battle system felt relatively open.
Playing xeno2 I just feel railroaded into building orbs.

But maybe I need to fuck around with the system more.

Of course. Pre-ordered the collector's set on friday

Yes, with the 10 dollar credit reward I'm getting for pre-ordering FFVIIR at Best Buy.

Depending the situation driver combos can be faster and more effective.

2 has too much going on for its own good. tons of weird status conditions that dont come up often or even matter most of the time they do, plus it is just orb stacking while the character skills have little impact

>tfw I got the Wii one with reversible cover back in the day
Personally the only thing I would want out of a CE is the OST and the artbook, don't really care about everything else.

What's she looking at?

>can't find any place to pre-order it
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Attached: 1562304597540.png (470x453, 182.73K)

CE or regular?

Fusion combos are much more efficient than using up your chain attack meter. Even just putting a lvl 1 special up and doing a full driver combo does huge damage.

CE. I was able to get it for XC2, so I want it for this one too, but I don't know if there aren't any more units, or it still isn't up to pre-order here in Spain.

Damn I wish I could get my hands on a xenoblade 2 ce in europe but they all go for over 200 euros

That's unfortunate, the european CE is the good one.

I want to replay XC2 but my JoyCons are drifting. Fuck this console! Made DQ11 unplayable as well since the drift skips dialogue as well.

Thank god XC1 auto attacks while moving, even though I prefer the tacticality of 2 it's unplayable one the console.

The Pro Controller is perfect for these games.

I wanted to preorder mine but it's already too late

I’ve heard early game battles/pacing can be a slog? Can anyone give me a rundown on what to upgrade or do to make things more smooth?

Attached: 419AC1A8-DD3C-42A8-8706-C005234488DC.jpg (1280x720, 128.91K)

Zenobia is more or less an unique monster checkbox.

The problem isn't strictly about what you the player upgrade on the beginning but rather what's available on the beginning.

Rush this, unlock it as soon as you can

I'm still waiting for the listing in Amazon-it.

Yes

There's some in GAME

Use dessert pouch items for arts regen.
Use driver combos. Every character has different steps of the driver combo on different weapon types.

Playing the Wii version atm, wish I did it sooner.
Just beat Xord, how far into the game am I?

I can't wait until december to get my hikari and homura figures, shipping and import fees are going to be ridiculously expensive because I live in europe but I don't care, now if only pneuma would get a one too

Thanks for the tip. I've genuinely not set foot in one of their stores for over a decade.

Burgers will NEVER get this, or at a huge premium

Attached: 35.jpg (424x424, 52.14K)

Learn auto-attack cancelling - it makes charging your arts go very quickly and also gets you more involved in fights in general. Using pouch items help too.

youtube.com/watch?v=GEksqxaML58

XBC2 is weird in that the first phase of the battle system feels like it was built around using the auto attack cancel and giving the player the choice of whether to go for the bigger amount of damage with a full cycle of auto attacks or building up arts faster with auto attack cancelling, but they never really tell you that it is an option. So then you have unimaginitive dumbasses like myself going through the entire game without knowing it was a thing, only to find out about it later through random youtube vids and comments on /v.

Xord is the first major obstacle, you're still very early on. Assuming you don't grind too much the game is around 70-90 hours on a first playthrough.
