What's your HONEST opinion on this creature?
What's your HONEST opinion on this creature?
I would hit it.
Breloom does spore setups better while having only one huge 4x type disadvantage, unlike this guy with 2. And it's creepy.
paras STINKS
cute
Him and parasect are fucking cool but god their stats are dogshit
I think Paras is pretty creepy since it has a cordycep fungi growing throughout it.
I THINK PARAS SUCKS
Bug types are trash across the board. There's a reason you don't see bug trainers in the lategame.
Where'd you get a picture of my son?
I really liked the Paras episode during Kanto. Used it once, and that's all.
Useless piece of shit that dies to fucking everything. Even in the anime, they had to try their absolute hardest to not mark it as the trashmon it obviously is.
Still sort of cute though. Parasect can die in a fire though.
Sexy
Love this guy
Gen 1-3 need a stat revamp
I like it on paper but have never used it in the games because it sucks
I would give it a mercy killing before the parasite devoured its mind.
One of the worst Pokemon. The only reason I ever had it was to fill out a space in the pokedex, and I did not care for it in the anime.
I like him and parasect quite a bit. I like mushrooms and crabs
I like the evil blue one better
>Only pokemon with a 5X weakness to Fire
I was disappointed that we never saw a regional variant without the parasitic mushrooms.
The fact that they cut half the Pokemon for, among other things, """balance reasons""" and didn't even fucking try to rebalance any of the huge pile of shitmons is fucking appalling
I like her manga a lot
Seo best girl
isn't this fucker insect + plant? absolutely bad typing
Yeah, the reason is that bug trainers would be overpowered and whoop your ass. We are the supreme trainers
>isn't this fucker insect + plant
yep, it's a dogshit type, it's 4x weak to flame and bird, and regular weak to other common attack types like cold and stone
They're cicadas not crabs
>5x weakness
What?
One of its abilities gives it extra weakness to fire
Only on Parasect with a particular ability, the rest are only 4x weak
4x weakness to fire with grass/bug and if it has dryskin it gets even more weakness to fire.
i fucking hate it
Freaky little son of a bitch.
Based Grass/Fighting Chad. Breloom is my Ace whenever I replay Emerald.
You know the move "Powder" wouldn't be too bad on it.
Too bad it was stuck on the damn multi national winged butterfly, and that fairy bug.
Of course, still couldn't save it from the other 4x weakness Flying
So, all in all, this pokemon still is doomed.
Too bad it never got the one move that could have somewhat kept it above trash.
As if a move could save a pokemon with stats like those
Paris a cute
Oui
PARAS NO
Ahem
Izumi Tsubaki did the design better.
i like him
Wasn't it 8x?
Parasect is a really cool concept for a pokemon
>Bug types are trash across the board
Venomoth
Scyther
Pinsir
Scizor
Heracross
Armaldo
Vespiquen
Leavanny
Scolipede
Durant
Volcarona
Ribombee
All say hello and fuck you.
it alright
based shroomer
Guzma was too good for gen 7...
He cute. It and Parasect are some of the best designs of genwun, too bad they're absolutely awful outside of having spore.
in my opinion I will step on it and relish the satisfying crunch
Is there really a pokemon called durant
He can also learn false swipe through breeding/tm, making him a worse version of breloom for the purpose of catching other mons
Yes, and because bugs aren't allowed anything nice it's another one with a 4x fire weakness.
Gen V, Bug/Steel, excellent Attack and Defense and Speed, has Hustle which boosts Attack even more and learns Hone Claws to offset the accuracy drop and power him up further, and learns a lot of great physical moves.
That's its ONLY weakness, though, and it can learn Rock-type moves to deal with Fire-types.
Good design held back by terrible typing, stats and movepool.
One of the only bug pokemon I give a hoot about. Venonat comes first, though.
Dry Skin only increases fire damage by 25%.
The only way it could reach 8X is if you used Skill Swap twice to give it Fluffy.
Man I love these two.
Beedrill is decent in for gen 1 playthroughs because I think he has the strongest bug type move in the game, and could rape grass/poison types because in gen 1 they were double weak to bug.
thats what megas, gmax, and regional forms/evos are for
he cute
Honestly I have no clue how I didn't know this.
I remember forcing myself to use this guy in Red/Blue because it was the only Pokemon in the game with an actual type advantage against Psychics. Not that it could overcome the sheer difference in stats, of course.
With a hammer?
I love it but it's a complete piece of shit ingame so I can't really love it
Gen V was the first to really buck the "bugs are early game trash" meme. There are a lot of good ones now.
