Too many games take place in fantasy land for even 10% of Japanese games to have High school students.

Nah up until the very end of the new girl's true ending route it still retains the serious and dark tone. It's still a fine route and my personal favourite.

The new girl adds a little bit (of good) to the original story, but is written out if you chose any of the other two routes. But besides that, visuals are better, puzzles are more interesting (albeit a little easier), and there are more interactions in the bar.

As to why her route is my favourite, I just think it gives Vincent his best life, and I also like the new girl a lot (or boy I guess).

When I was in 8th grade, the school I went to announced that they would be hosting Japanese foreign exchange students. Of course all the guys were excited because Japanese girls in porn were hot so we were all ready to try and hit on authentic Japanese women.

Every puzzle is different, meaning gameplay wise it's a different game with an expanded version of the same story. The old puzzles are also an option if you like, and the versus mode has been expanded as well.
