Absolutely despise how even though theres a color changing feature and theres objects that come in multiple colors, you can't change most of those items to their other colors so you have to pray to RNG gods that it shows up in your store so you can rebuy the whole fucking thing. Thats even if you can get a recolor because some islands have random exclusive colors / designs you have to trade with other people for no fucking reason. I wish catalogs also just let you buy the other colors of objects you've already bought.
They also don't even let you go to someone elses island to buy from their terminal to get their exclusive colors / designs when this shit costs nook miles.

All tools breaking straight up just isn't fun, even fucking golden tools break. Its also tedious to remake them because you have to make a flimsy tool, then upgrade that tool. They should have at least let you repair tools.

The crafting is dog shit, it doesn't tell you how many of the thing you will make like with fences, it doesn't let you make multiple of the same thing at once like if you want to make fish bait or a lot of fences so you have to watch the animation and go through the dialog every time for each one you make, some recipes require other furniture that require their own recipes and its all RNG if you'll even get it.

The terrain tools super cool but its also super clunky and tedious to use, it takes so long to clear shit out or pave paths. I wish it was more like DQB that had the same shit but better.

Theres way to much repeating dialog to do simple things to mash through in general. Especially now with Easter, every single villager I talk to never says anything but "DID YOU KNOW COCONUT TREES DROP MORE EGGS?" and theres more then a week to go of this event.

I hate this awful pixel smoothing thing they do for custom designs, I wish there was an option to turn it off because it ruins some of them.
