What the fuck is going on here
We might have a rarest game of the generation

user, it never existed. Period.
Now let this thread die in peace
ITS THE PUBLISHER O FUCK
>cockstar
You just had to keep asking, didn't you user?
This released?
I wonder what happened
>PS4 version doesn't exist
Was anyone actually gonna buy this on PS4?
Man, that article is wild.
>Thankfully, we can see some of those original posts, because they were hosted elsewhere – and an August 2019 entry became notable for announcing that the new Cooking Mama would be the “first game to integrate blockchain technology on major consoles”, which led to widespread confusion at the time. That press release discussed adding in-game currencies, online events and “Private-Key Enabled Balanced DRM”. Please remember, we’re talking about a Cooking Mama game.
I remember thinking this sounded extremely fishy when the news came out. I wonder if it's possible that Nintendo found out too late about it and blacklisted the game as a result, but that wouldn't quite explain the retail situation.
>mfw the game got dumped online
Awww shit piratebros, time to dab on buyfags yet again
>DRM for a FUCKING COOKING MAMA GAME
>That press release discussed adding in-game currencies, online events and “Private-Key Enabled Balanced DRM”.
Oh boy I can't wait for Finance Mama.
>>PS4 version doesn't exist
SWITCHADS WIN AGAIN
Now try reading the original press release: gonintendo.com
>Key blockchain components for “Cooking Mama: Coming Home to Mama” include:
>Unique Blockchain Private-Keys – Each purchased copy of the game will have unique IDs which will be managed directly through the game’s internal wallet storage. Players will be able to focus on Cooking Mama’s user experience rather than cryptographic key management.
>Private-Key Enabled Balanced DRM – Traditional DRM limits the ability to copy games, while private-keys on blockchain protocols allows easy registration. These combined items provide greater proof of ownership to legitimate owners of a game, while also allowing them to resell games both digitally and in traditional retail outlets.
>Enhanced Multiplayer Experience with Dual Expression – This feature, when enabled, makes every copy of a game subtly different and personal to a user. It utilizes the private-key to change expression algorithms for characters, ingredients and cooking methods.
>Securing Online Events – For promotional events, player records and participation can be tracked while maintaining privacy. In addition, hashes of the running game can be recorded to ensure the game has not been altered to create an unfair advantage.
>Digital Assets, Rewards, Recognition – Users will be rewarded with in-game currency (or points, experience, and other items) or earn recognition and certificates. These could be provided by the game, other players, or third parties that host tournaments or other promotions.
Coupled with the developer being unknown, this game sounds like a money-laundering scheme.
bro
Its at Walmart and Target
Finance Mama actually sounds like a great idea for a game.
Don't put a > in front of a link. It makes it harder to copy and paste.
Just click it you mouth breathing retard.
Buy it now and sell it at ebay later
Apparently the game is kinda shit too
So what are the odds this thing has a crypto miner packed in disguised as drm
>it turns out there's some weird and wack, maybe even illegal shit in the rom, which is why they pulled it out ASAP
>40 bux
I thought they were always 15 dollar minigame games wtf
100%
>real Switch reboot
>SJW PS4 ver.
Really? What's mama smugglin'?
> Players will be able to focus on Cooking Mama’s user experience rather than cryptographic key management.
My sides are in orbit, what a fucking sentence.
Bitcoin, probably
>Rate M RPG opening world
>very shadbased
Mayl Gear Solid
Fucking shadman.
Cunt poster
This reminds me of the in-development JSRF 2 article that was on wikipedia and listed as an upcoming game for 3ds. It was up for about 2 weeks, people were real confused by it, and then it was gone
This news is already out of date. Some hotshot in the Switch homebrew scene got its hands on a copy and has begun looking into it and found suspiciously high resource usage and some network shit indicating it legit might have a miner built in.
BASED
is this game a fucking bitcoin miner?
That would explain why it got pulled.
...
Fucking legends
>bitcoin miners are now in shovelware console titles
SOMEBODY STOP THE MADNESS
Cooking Meryl (PS5)
Switch Party Babyz with miner when?
There's some FB posts indicating it drains switch battery like a mother fucker too and that turning wifi off helps double its duration.
It really looks like if you turn it on with an internet connection it starts mining coins.
>Cooking Mama
>Shovelware
don't act like it isn't
>Bitcoin Mama
What a wonderful world we live in
This is fucking wild, I wonder how much shovelware trash actually has a miner, not just for switch games
It at least had some effort put into it
Like I thought then. Holy shit.
It not shovelware.
It AAA games for MILF/Aunt/GILF gamer.
How the fuck do you even make a game that goes out on shops with a miner?
Anyone know if this is on switch eshop again
40/40
This is the developer
planetent.co
All their games are Switch exclusive shovelware
Tell hackers to look into these as well
Couldn't that be due to some of the weird fuckery in ?
>all shovelware
Brainlet
Apparently it didn't since Nintendo pulled it from their shops and retailers barely have it
Steam once sold a game (complete shovelware garbage indie game for like a dollar) that shipped without an .exe file and was literally unplayable. Steam probably doesn't check nearly as much as other platforms but I'm not surprised it happens
Must not babysit little girl.
Count on Nintendo's certification process not expecting you to have big enough balls and a small enough brain to dare try it, and thus not noticing the power usage and resource demand as suspicious.
Sooo is this gonna end up like this then?
?
>a fucking bitcoin miner inside a licensed game
What the actual fuck is going on
Do you have a single fact to back that up?
