BFA and especially 8.3 cured me from WoW, I gave away all my gold and stuff I could trade and kicked the habit. every single thing now is designed to just keep you in game and subbed while quality of content is in the toilet. the fucking rng and time-gating, allied races, island shitpeditions, corruption, bland classes, pvp its all shit, writing is at all time low with all those SJW tranny writers blizz employs now.
the only thing thats on the level is level design at least untill 8.3 which is just rehased content with purple glow coz muh CORRUPTION

The whole game is now just an out of control dumpsterfire and all they can do is throw more shit on it to try and stay warm as everything burns.
It went from a fun MMORPG to a metagrind mess where the only thing that matters is being one of three equally boring positions in your raid or grinding arena in the single most boring PvP format thinkable
Every class has to be equally able to beat each other or it's "unbalanced" because they took the idea of building a team of people that could all do something unique and contribute to the goal of the BG in their own way in to a slog where you either heal really good or damage really good.
The fact of the matter is they have no fucking clue why people liked the game and their handling of classic has proved that beyond the shadow of a doubt.
Had they known what made old WoW good, they would have Made something new and original in classic's style as opposed to shoveling us the same shit we got years ago and saying "there, now stop whining".
They didn't though and now we have apexis grind #5: the expansion and Vanilla but with 100% more meta.
This shit ain't worth your money, don't give them a cent.

I don't see how giving all mage specs frostbolt is blankslating. If anything, it's just destroying spec identity in an attempt to pad the quantity of available abilities.

The fact it's taking this long for the Shadowlands Alpha to come out shows they know the expansion is gonna be shit and they're delaying the release to slap in some last minute touch-ups. This is their last chance to show their players that they actually give a shit and if ends up terrible I don't think they'll be able to keep even the more hardcore addicts playing Retail anymore.

I usually do this as well when the game was still fun. I only played BfA a total of 3 weeks. Once I reached max level and saw all the busy work and chores endgame was I stopped playing. Was already annoyed with scaled leveling so leveling an alt was not even an option.

Almost definitely getting delayed by the chinkvirus, and the game CANNOT survive 9+ months of Nyalotha. Even SoO wasn't this bad.

They have lost every ounce of goodwill, why should I spend more money on them? Where a company like EA is greedy and pushes questionable monetization into their games, Blizzard is just fucking incompetent.
They had the most played and genre defning MMO in WoW, they had the largest subscriber based revenue within gaming, they had the most popular and genre defning RTS in starcraft, they had the most popular and genre defining ARPG in diablo. They had Warcraft 1-3, games that are quite unique to this day. Their games (and company) were some of the most influential on the esport scene. They could have had the DotA game/audience. They could have been the frontrunners in the esport scene.

All of this is just touching on their pisspoor performance from the perspective of a gamer. As an investor I do not understand what sort of brand loyalty would compel someone to invest in this company. It has done poorly in the past, and it continues to do poorly despite a merger, it has a huge mismatch in asset value vs stock value, and their goodwill is not worth the difference, nor is anything else they own unless they are hiding a stash of Faberge eggs somewhere to be revealed coming easter or so.

The only reason they have filed yet, is because WoW is digital heroine and several million people need their fix.

I honestly feel like Shadowlands is their last chance. Even the Blizzdrones have RAPIDLY gotten fed up with Blizzard's shit through the course of BFA. The whole company is going to come tumbling down, I think.

If it was legitimately being delayed because of the 'rona then Blizzard would've made a blogpost about it, I'm pretty sure they're just retarded and are stalling because they know it's gonna be bad.

Right now I miss playing WoW. But I wont return to BFA to play soloand my old WoW friends arent interested either. So either try Classic (I started at the en of vanilla WoW) or wait for SL and play the levelling content for a month.
