Curing the genophage is a really fucking stupid decision. There is zero question about that. I don't think there is a person who can think it's a good idea. I think the real dilemma the game places you in is "Can I cope with Wrex hating me or not?" for some that answer was eas too, but I think in general thats what you're actually supposed to be conflicted about.
