Just played a map as buggy, I don’t know if I’m playing wrong but he doesn’t seem that great. Really Sky types seems to be the best in general so far.

But I’m just partway through the story and maybe halfway through the East Blue set of challenges. Holy crap is there a lot, I can’t imagine how big the next two areas are. Wish they kept the Dream Log style map instead of just menus though.

I wish it were a special like the stamp. I don't like any of Luffy's transformation cutscene specials, they're hard to aim and kill the fast pace.

It being at the end of the attack string means there's a lot of button mashing rather than mindful gameplay.

Kaidos triple shockwave is more fun than anything Big Mom has in her whole kit. She just feels really sloppy compared to him.

Those games are unplayable compared to 4 now that you can zoom around in the air at 500mph.

What's the objectively best Musou game?
They all seem to have crippling flaws that make them impossible to objectively recommend over another.

Cavendish, Carrot, Crocodile, Ace, Whitebeard is usually my rotation. Then i play a few other characters inbetween

There isn't one, this one is good though and gives me hope for the future musous. They just upgraded the engine and the gameplay but the game was a bit rushed out so it's not perfect. The next PW if they make one should be the ultimate One Piece musou gameplay wise.

Sengoku Basara, Hyrule Warriors, and Samurai Warriors 4 are the ones I had the most fun with. But I even love ones that people say suck

I like Sky dudes, my only problem with them is that the camera shits itself when you go full burst and start going zoom zoom on some guy.

Does anyone know what two golden coins I'm missing on whitebeard's map? Also I wish there was more people playing multiplayer on PC, but I guess the matchmaker can be quite clunky to work with.

I've seen a lot of reviewers say the game looks the same as older musous and I wonder what the hell they're smoking. Destroying buildings is so kino in this kind of game.

I loved 3, it pooped all over the Omega Force games.

Im really enjoying this game but there are a few things that really bug me
>Hard mode is overly tedious during 1v1 fights, as its not hard, theryre just damage sponges so you get a combo in, retreat, repeat
>Constant cutting away to events ruins the flow, and even ends combos
>no warning that youre about to be teleported to a boss room, not giving you a chance to open one of the chests youve been saving or finish sub missions
>lazy cut aways to show a cutscene instead of doing it in-game. like the blackbeard fight where it cuts away every time he destroys part of the stage, ruining your combo
>no checkpoints before bosses, really annoying when doing hard with underleveled characters where some levels become 30+ minutes
>terrible god awful camera that keeps clipping
>lock on does a terrible job of focusing on the character
>special moves charge up too fast so you end up just spamming them because youre just wasting them if you dont
>special move animations take forever
>your allies can knock enemies out of your special
>some abilities break the game and make it too easy, like zoros ability that allows him to restore health when in full burst (which restores very fast)
>some characters are just flat out bad like pre TS ussop

I think PW4 is the most "fun" combat-wise. The character progression system is very good too. Plus it's One Piece. Definitely a shitton better than PW3 if you don't care about the cut story and cut character.s
