Yes or No?

Right, enough shitposting. Whats the final verdict on this? Is it worth buying or is it really as trash as I'n hearing?

The game is good overall. You have to be a new fan or a long time RE fan though.

I'd tell you if there was a torrent out there.

Cringe

Good means jackshit. DS3 is a good game, but comparing it to 1 and 2 it's a plain downgrade in most areas. I think RE3 was a blunder.

1. Jill is a fucking babe
2. It's more fun than RE2, with way better bossfights and prettier environments
3. REsistance is fun and provides tons of replay value

>with way better bossfights
lol no, kys

>with way better bossfights
I keep seeing this bullshit argument, is simply not true. The boss fights are REmake-2 tier.

>bombarded metacritic score

Yes.

I took me 5 hours to beat the game. Don't know why is getting shit on but my experience with it was playable. Nemisis teleporting DBZ style was trash in the beginning which honestly is where most of the problem are from. Once you past the city it was a good run.

Cleared the game on standard in 4 and a half hours and I was taking my time. I think I ended up missing one lockpick box but I have no idea when that could have been.
That being said it was a good enough game that I wanted more of. I can completely empathize with those saying that it should have been a DLC instead of a standalone game. I say this in the sense that I know the original RE games were meant to be cleared in under three hours but in this game it apparently is supposed to be cleared in under two hours.
In the end I do not regret spending the cash on the game but if you are looking for a more "meaty" version of this game that expands on the city and the lore it's not there.

If you collect everything in downtown before restoring the electrical power, like I did, you get to experience Nemesis stalking you for a grand total of 5 minutes.

how is that cringe? i dont think you even understand the proper use of the word. fucking summerfags this soon.

not enough nemesis encounters, and he mutated to quickly

DS3 is better than 1 and especially 2. If this is the kind of person shitting on RE3 then it must be an amazing game

I just finished hardcore with a time of 1:47. However, it still gave me a B. Is this because it is considering total time played? I never continued, always reloaded. Does it still track that? Or is it because I had a recovery coin?

yes, for half a price

How many first aid sprays did you use?

Probably a shit ton, Is that considered as well? I thought it was only time and saves, I had exactly 5 which should've landed me in the bracket.

>Jill is a fucking babe
it's a 3D model, probably made by a guy that jerks off to hentai , man

In the past games they have done this. I'm not sure if it is in RE but using the recovery coin might be the reason as well as past games have penalized big time for things like infinite ammo and such.

No, its disappointing but while I could have forgiven a lot of faults for the sake of Nemesis he really isn't as much of a threat as he really should be.
After first proper bossfight with him he's kind of a joke.
Otherwise the Carlos sections are highlights of the game, they're great fun while they last and while the even if they turn into more of an action game than the survival horror the rest of the game tries to be.

Not that I've tried it myself but apparently the online mode is really good and feels more polished as an experience.

would I love this game if I love resident evil 2 remake?

shame about the face

That could be it, I spent most of the game not killing enemies and just tanking through sections with healing items and the recovery coin which, worked quickly enough to make it so getting bit wasn't really of any concern. I also took the lockpick which in hindsight probably isn't worth it, you get it right before the first lock where you need it so all it does is give you more items earlier. Hip Pouches are probably a better investment for points.

You'll probably have a better time than most but in my opinion its a bit of a downgrade.

Worth pirating to see what the fuss is about.

The thing about Remake3 is the price, they made Resistance and learn a few lessons with Umbrella Corps about launching a side project on its own, thats the reason they added it to Remake3, and because the singleplayer by itself lacks content. I think the game, without Resistance, should cost between $20 to $30. And even then I would encourage people to pay less than $20 for it. Resistance is also fine, but is kind of a laggy mess.
Remake3 has no puzzles, is an action packed game, it has almost no backtracking, few maps, reused maps from Remake2, I really liked Nemesis in this game, he is hardcore as fuck, always aggresive. The Carlos levels are fun. Final boss is bullshit in nightmare or inferno, almost impossible without items (I beat Nightmare without items and died a shitton of times, wanted to try and do the same in Inferno, but after seeing streams about the last fight I don't want to do it anymore).
The game by itself is a ok 6/10, the main problem is the price and the lack of content.

Mediocre garbage and way worse than RE2make

THE GOOD
>looks good. Nemy intro is cool, as is his early forms redesign
>raccoon city looks great
>railcannon looks pretty cool
>game is fun when its free form exploration
>music is more frequent and satisfying
>hunter betas are cool

THE BAD
>shit outfit for Jill
>later nemesis forms are lazy and dumb.
>game is criminaly short (like Little People, Big World short)
>no RPD visit with Jill
>beloved content cut out (clock tower, dead factory, gravedigger)
>beloved content cut out and replaced with generic sewer level and generic labratory level.
>final Nemesis is Birkin blob
>Jill is absolute cunt tier at the begining, but chills out a few minutes later near the end of the game
>hunter gammas are fucking stupid
>puzzles are easy as shit

Is it worth it if someone else is gonna buy it for me? I can call it my birthday present and I'll have it in an hour, but I really just wanna play resistance mode

Every score in the user score is "bombarded" regardless of what the end result is. The sole purpose of the user score on metashit is to see if a game is loved, divisive or hated and thats all, you should quite literally never stare at the numbers on the user score because they mean nothing, only the colors. REmake 3 is in the yellow and it probably deserves to be in the red because of how badly capcom botched and rushed what should and could have been the masterwork of its own little subgenre (pursuer type horror)

It's fun, only 2 section I disliked, one at the start and one at the tail end of the second to last area.
The influence from the former Platinum devs is blatant in those sections.

If you love the remake of 2?
Yes. It's a great game.
If you want a straight remake of 3? You'll be disappointed.

I cant even get it to stop tearing despite running RE2 at max without any issues.

So far people have pointed out that the intro is topical to today's life style of living.

>gravedigger
>beloved
NOBODY FUCKING LIKED HIM
WHY ARE PEOPLE SAYING THEY LIKE HIM NOW

It's not trash but it has nothing on RE:2. The first half of the game is way too "cinematic," too many setpiece moments that move in a straight line and not enough exploration or backtracking like in 2. It definitely picks up in the second half and starts feeling like a Resident Evil game, though. I'm definitely going to play through it again.

Attached: Capture.png (1107x739, 1.01M)

I like it a lot, but I'm never preordering a game again.

>Hunter gammas are fucking stupid
You're fucking stupid

>No Jill section in RPD
C'mon...seriously?

Attached: I mean...srsly.gif (342x239, 980.88K)

He's right. I don't know why they cut that part out as I feel as though it was an integral part to the original game but the "lore" of the remake (and possibly the original game) does make more sense as to why she would not actively seek out the police station as there could have been forces working against her in there.

>NOBODY FUCKING LIKED HIM

Only one nobody: You.

WHERE ARE MY BIG MILKY MOMMY MODS
And the mod that makes her classic outfit actually a fucking skirt, not a skort

I will not consider the opinions who think bombarding reviews is a smart thing to do

because people are desperate to shit on a fine game because they like to be contrarian

>changes interesting original design for a washed out blob monster that slowly approaches you and will instakill you if it gets too close

Come on now.

How are you fuckers beating the game under 5 hours? Do you just rush through on the easiest difficulty, ignore the collectibles, and never explore? I just got done with the hospital at 7ish hours. This is on hardcore, with a good amount of exploring and retries. I'll probably clear it under 10 hours but this game is meant to be replayed multiple times.

You're right, the new design is so much better. So glad they got their time to shine in Generic Sewer no. 3.

I always beat any game in the normal settings and play the 2nd run on the hardest. Honestly if you know how the map work you shouldn't be wasting so much time collecting items.

Let's be real. Neither the old or the new designs are that great.

Never said the new design was better.

I played through the demo a couple of times so I ended up doing the beginning portion of the game pretty fast. Honestly I found the first half of the game hard not to blow through because there are so many setpiece moments where you just run away from Nemesis in a straight line.

michael was right. they hated him because he told the truth.

does costumes added by mods are swapable directly from the ingame menu ?

I played Hardcore for my first run, and got a 5:40 time with cutscenes. The fuck are you doing, licking all windows and walls?

I wish it was cheaper
