I always thought that was the appeal of those RE games, the way Japanese developers viewed western "culture" and how they adapted it within their games. The artists working on the early games must've like european art and architecture alot.

I don't know where this zoomie idea of the designs being a "problem" came from. Just look at the Demake3 and its absolutely generic, ugly and soulless environments, and you once again see that unique and stylish designs > "muh realism".

Just download the preconfigured emulator package and an iso from a seperate source(they're all over the internet).
I've recently tried a similar mod for the PC version of REmake, it really makes quite a difference compared to the grainy vanilla backgrounds. Such a shame all the original assets are long gone and we'll never get a proper upscaled remaster. I wouldn't mind them doing a full 3d rendition of the spencer mansion though, like they did with the police station in RE2 remake.

No one gives a fuck about rumble & GC has the exact same models, the problem is the PC version shipped bugged & the perspective correction doesn't work so the models wobble

The GC version has it's own flaw with low res FMV's that are very difficult to fix due to it's unique codec, but it's way more bearable than Jill having a seizure

They already have such thing. To a degree.

GC's BGs and assets are at 480p resolution, and unlike the PC port, the overlay textures can also be upscaled without fugly outlines.

Sounds good, I used that pre-set-up RE3SHDP-thing and it was pretty good as well once you set it to pre-loading custom-textures or whatever it was
