Anime is for losers and so are card games.

Yes but are the Godzilla cards in Magic: Arena?

They are.

Attached: file.png (960x540, 1.14M)

That's crazy

>even more green cards
What the fucl

Its technically a alt art card instead of actual Godzilla cards

Still can't wait to make a Commander deck with these

Attached: iko-379-illuna-apex-of-wishes.jpg (672x936, 131.19K)

I thought this was awesome.

Also no mention of Sharknado being in bois???

Attached: sharktyphoon.jpg (265x370, 40.44K)

The set is clearly a love letter to Kaijus, big monster animes and monster horror films.

I like it. But then I love Kaijus, there better be some huge fucking Artifact Golem Mechs like Pacific Rim and Gundam.

ALl the cards are original creatures, these are just card styles, the OP happened not to mention it.
You can still get the cards easily, they're not special promotions. It says the actual creature's name under the main name.

Not this one. There's literally not a Non-Godzilla version.

Attached: file.png (265x370, 247.71K)

It's Zilortha, Strength Incarnate. You cna clearly fucking see it, you dickhead. This is released early or something as JUST the Godzilla version for the Buy-a-Box promo. Just because they haven't made the non Godzilla card doesn't mean the same rules don't apply. Apply yourself.

that's cool as fuck, though
I used to love w/b decks, too

>game rips off a newer, much shittier game

We Hearthstone now.

Mass Extinction.
3B
Sorcery
Choose odd or even. Exile all creatures with a converted mana cost of the chosen trait.

I don't watch Attack on Testosterone, what's it ripping off?

>One card, the Buy-a-Box card, only exists in its Godzilla Series form, but each of the others has both an Ikoria card and a matching Godzilla Series card.

Ya seethe?

What does Companion mean?
Starting deck? What?

I cannot believe it took Wizards over twenty five fucking years to realize they could sell alters

to be fair, they're fucking sweet alters

Attached: 1579112036435.jpg (480x548, 34.35K)

You can cast it from your sideboard once per game if it fulfills the companion requirement

AoT was about humanity has walled itself into a kingdom due to Titans emerging and eating everyone. The only way they stave off the Titans thus far as of the start of the series, is the special forces that have those grappling gear to swing round and cut their necks, but most often humans die a lot and get eaten throughout. Often easily left behind for the sake of the other humans.

This new card, along with being on a wall with anti siege gear has flavour that you sacrifice 2 humans to destroy a big old stompy boi

It's not like it's the first time they rip off hearthstone

Attached: bbd-76-last-one-standing.jpg (672x936, 169.4K)

Uh, the name of the actual card is right under the card style name.

Attached: Angel_of_Invention.jpg (600x452, 76.09K)

The whole concept of the plane is that humans live in isolated villages being attacked by huge beasts and they have to do everything to survive. Plenty of characters talk about how they're hunters and there seem to be some sort of politics at play. I'm not sure if it's really a rip-off of Attack on Titans, but there's certainly a lot of parallels, except it's kaiju instead of giant grotesque humans. So, a big improvement, really.

Attached: file.png (265x370, 241.12K)

So more Monster Hunter than AoT

See: And breathe

Even if they don't make the Zilortha a a separate card it still doesn't change for all intent and purposes this ISN'T Godzilla. It's Zilortha. You need to cope my friend.

Oh so like a micro commander? That's pretty cool.

>Even if they don't make the Zilortha a a separate card it still doesn't change for all intent and purposes this ISN'T Godzilla. It's Zilortha
That's retarded. There's literally no Zilortha card. The only way you can play this card legally is by playing Godzilla. Any legal tournament of this game with that card will have Godzilla's art in it. You're the one coping.

They haven't even revealed the Godzilla card that isn't just an alt art. It's not that one.

What part of this aren't you getting?
Retarded idiots. Covid has made it summer time Yas Forums every fucking day, i swear.

There is a Zilortha card though.
How do you not understand this?

inb4 he comes back with
>im just pretending to be retarded hurr durr i trol u

Spoken like a true loser

Nine cmc for just a 11/11 trampler? That's garbage.

And that's way fucking worse than wicked wolf.

I guess the strategy is to make your promotional cards absolute dogshit.

Arent those cards banned in like 90% of the rulesets? Ghidorah art is cool anyway so I dont really care

No? They're just alts for a bunch of cards in the newest set

Who care about CMC when you have so much power 4+ graveyard recursion in this set already lol

They haven't even revealed all the new cards my friend. What we have seen is only a small preview. The actual Zilortha art hasn't been shown yet. Please use your brain. If there's going to be a godzilla card that isn't an alt art version of an actual card, it's NOT this one.

Attached: 1200px-Exava.jpg (1200x875, 200.13K)

Oh im just retarded then nvm

There's very few banned cards in standard right now.

Attached: backformore.jpg (265x370, 43.44K)

Yes, they have. There's 19 cards with Godzilla alters. 16 ones you can get on boosters, 3 you can only get on the Japanese version (and Arena) and the one that is Buy-A-Box exclusive. "Godzilla, King of Monsters" is the Buy-A-Box exclusive.
mtg-jp.com/reading/kochima/0033907/

>There is a Zilortha card though.
>One card, the Buy-a-Box card, only exists in its Godzilla Series form
COPE

Nope, I'm right, ya seethin

Attached: file.png (320x320, 251.37K)

Those weapons and outfits are not nearly MH enough for MH.

You're not even understanding what we're saying. ALl you're doing is spamming COPE COPE LOL, SEETHE COPE.

What we're saying is: it's entirely possible Zilortha can be added later, expecially onto Arena (They've made Arena only cards already) though this isn't likely. But if not, the card STILL is Zilortha. Legally, it's ISN'T Godzilla.

TO say there isn't a Zilortha card is incorrect. Who cares what the art is. So, you're NOT right. You're fucking stupid.

How can you faggots keep coping when literally all of this information has been made available through official sources already?

See pic related, translated from mtg-jp.com/reading/kochima/0033907/
Then look at
>One card, the Buy-a-Box card, only exists in its Godzilla Series form
From magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/card-preview/collecting-ikoria-2020-04-02

Cope more

Attached: file.png (445x426, 301.92K)

Who cares about a shitty 11/11 trampler that doesn't have an etb that immediately wins the game like a real deck's card does.

More than there have been for the past 15 years.

It is Godzilla, Zilortha is just how the ikoria inahbitants call Godzilla.

stomp haha

Attached: 1440330069602.jpg (800x1234, 286.51K)

Yawn, all i'm hearing is shit I've heard for years. Who cares about this seemingly average card when MY card does THIS?

Go play more than Tier 1 netdecks bro, you'll enjoy Magic more. This could go into a deck with LOTS of high power and toughness not for any particular reason but for the sake of having a huge play of 11/11, 15/15, etc. Jank is love, jank is life.

>But if not, the card STILL is Zilortha. Legally, it's ISN'T Godzilla.
>TO say there isn't a Zilortha card is incorrect. Who cares what the art is.
This is literally, unironically, unequivocally non-meme coping
The only official art of the card is Godzilla. It's a Godzilla card lol
You can admit you're wrong, buddy. Doubling down just embarrasses you even further

Lol, that would be funny. But the naming convention is apparent from the other Godzilla cards. The 'Godzilla promo' name is at the top and the legal card name is directly underneath and on the activated ability text. Not once does the card refer to itself as Godzilla. it's the same as alternate art. It's just there for looks.

>only available in Jewster packs or by buying an entire box for a single card

DROPPED

>M:TG makes a human male warrior that most definitely fucks monsters and wants coexistence
>calls him Lukka of all things
what did WotC meant by this

Attached: 70e.jpg (850x850, 404.83K)

Come back on release day and we'll see who's right. I'll make a thread and suck your cock if I'm wrong.

Wrong. All of the cards except for the Buy-A-Box one (The one the autist ITT doesn't want to admit is the official Godzilla card) are in normal draft boosters. Just not usually.

How is explaining the rules of the game coping? The game doesn't care what the promo art is, and now this is a new insatnce of there being also a promo name.
All the promo cards for Godzilla refer to themselves as their actual legal names. this isn't coping bro, you're too drenched in Yas Forums culture to actually have a logical and rational discussion without spamming Yas Forums buzzwords.
I'm not wrong at all, there's nothing to admit because I was never arguing with you about whether Godzilla is the only art or whether it's a Godzilla card. I'm telling you, TELLING, that this card is Zilortha.

>too many fucking promos
>mutate and companion are clusterfucks of mechanics
>enemy wedges without strong manabase
>most monsters are huge timmy cards that wont see play
The counters are pretty cool, but even that's going to be a mess due to people people forgetting which is which for the first few months.

There are "trample counters" now?
t. didn't play since Time Spiral

Sure, for all intends and purposes it's Zilortha because while we are on Ikoria but we as planeswalkers know it's just Godzilla from our home plane.

You won't be missed.

I'd love to see how you coped back when Phyrexian mana was introduced lmao.

If you get the Mechagodzilla alter, there's this:

Artifact Creature - Giant
At the beginning of combat on your turn, choose a kind of counter at random that Mechagodzilla doesn't have on it from among flying, first strike, deathtouch, hexproof, lifelink, menace, reach, trample, vigilance, and +1/+1. Put a counter of that kind on Mechagodzilla

Attached: file.png (265x370, 266.29K)

It's a set mechanic for Ikoria, yeah
Works exactly as it seems, but it's probably not something that's going to stick

I think I need to get like all the godzilla cards for my grimlock deck. So many good dinos coming in this set.

oh my god that's why they're orzhov isn't it

Attached: h17-1-grimlock-dinobot-leader.jpg (672x936, 184.48K)
