Never played it before, what is it?

MMBN + roguelite

Neat. Might give this a look.

There's a demo

zoomerware for autists.
really bad and dogshit inferior to any BN.

Harder bosses/routes when?

All my best decks are just avoiding selfdamage and massing up mana/regen cards so I can just fling out a gorillion spells at the boss. Works for pretty much every character. Only have a couple more unlocks to go before I start trying for the higher Hell modes and looping.

I don't abuse this, but Grail doesn't consume during the practice phase after a fight if you just shuffle a couple times, so it gives you infinite money and health. Also works with Soul Fire to make an attack with infinite damage. Takes a longass time to build though.

filtered

im getting filtered by purple diagonal attacks, whats the best way to dodge those shits deep into the run?

Why is the dev so fucking bad at the game?

the 16 enemy tiles or all 32?

Sorry i don't play spiritual succesors and would much rather stick with the originals

the god deck contains two cards. every other artifact is icing on the cake

Those are the hardest for me to dodge too. I've got the safe spots memorized for Reva since she only has a few locations she can fire from. The regular enemies with that attack still give me trouble though so I just kill them as quickly as possible.

All of them.

all 32 glgl
OSFE definitely has faster and more engaging gameplay than any BN game I ever played, admittedly I only ever did 1-3, but this blows them out of the water pretty fucking hard. Some people don't like the deckbuilding thing, and I get that, but you're kinda just shooting yourself in the foot if you write this off without a thought. Just play the demo

>All of them.
How the fuck?

>OSFE definitely has faster and more engaging gameplay than any BN game I ever played
Someone said the exact same thing about Shanghai and that was just more copy and paste

There's a card that sets an entire row on fire and another that spreads fire to tiles above and below it. You can use those to get 3 rows and then shuffle into either one of them for the last row.

focus anima, only take fire cards, get firestorm, shuffle for it a couple times, bing bang done
>someone
uhhh ok what do YOU think of the game?

>uhhh ok what do YOU think of the game?
Shanghai? I thought it was good for fangame standards but didn't like how it recycled BN scenarios and character traits except it's 2hu now and the humor is godawful. Again, i'd much rather stick with games like BN2 or BN6

then why the fuck are you even in this thread. god, people who do nothing but complain are the fucking worst

Shopkeeper > Serif > Terra > Terrable > Gate > Reva > Selicy > Violet > Gunner > Shiso > Saffron > Hazel

What is this

difficulty

loosest asshole rating

>Shopkeeper begins targetting the glacierbox
>hit her with soul link
>she takes 666x7 damage
>spam some other moves to chip the rest of her health off
ezpz

>spam some other moves to chip the rest of her health off
Just fight her in the first stage and it's an instakill

Just letting you know my tastes are superior to yours

Don't mind the other faggot's replies, i was just expecting something like "OSfE is actually way different compared to everything you've played so far" and then i'd say "well maybe i'll give it a try"

Shopkeeper > Serif > Terrable > Gate > Selicy > Terra > Reva > Violet > Gunner > Shiso > Saffron > Hazel

>wall
easy shit
>terrable
FUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Default Saffron is so fucking dogshit holy hell, how do you win with this crap unless you luckshit a perfect setup of cards and artifacts?

Sounds like you're just shit. Her gun is amazing.

Saffron has random shit that can 1 shot you. She's relatively easy as a boss in general but can end your runs with 250+ damage out of nowhere.

>pea shooter is amazing
Yeah right
>Inb4 just luckshit the artifacts that make her weapon broken lol

>how do you win with this crap
What route? Wall is cheesable since it doesn't move so just get glaive for infinite damage on it, shields and/or fire poison. Don't know about the rest since enemies who move around a lot break my balls.

Just don't be on the same row as her bro just don't stay 4 tiles away on the same row as her bro.

Never had that happen, are you talking about Ragnarok?
She's so predictable having no attack that you have to counter through quick reaction

If you skip spell drops you get more luck. If you then can't get at least a couple atk artifacts from shops or drops by 7-0 then yeah you're doing it wrong.

Default Saffron isn't that different from Chrono unless you spam the watch anyway, and Heart of the Cards is way worse than the revive.

whoop de doo who'd have thought the character with 1800hp would otherwise be fairly weak

just take advantage of her insane hp pool by deckslamming or using infinity beams

>roguelite
pass

I thought I was going to win my first run earlier today but then I got to the gate and had no idea what was going on. I felt so powerful.

>Playing on low difficulty

>Have already beated the game with every character
>Didn't know this
Wooooow how was I supposed to know

spam all the cards

The Gate has a lot of AoE stuff that's easy to dodge on the surface, but then you add in the two turrets it spawns partway through the fight and if you don't kill those whenever they're up it gets a lot worse. But it's probably the easiest final boss if you can get to it with a deck designed to fight it.

>playing the noob friendly character if you're already good enough to score hell wins
i dont know what to tell you

Attached: tenor-3.gif (480x360, 2.8M)

>hear about Luck from different artifacts
>get curious about how to know about my luck stat
>notice the clover in the Deck gui
>notice it's a lot higher than what my artifacts wouldve given me in that run
>begin checking it frequently to suss out any patterns
note that only skipping spell card drops give luck, afaik the artifact drops don't give you anything if you pass them up. with a conservative amount of skipping you can usually see 3-5 orange cards per run to the gate, along with an assload of purples. i feel like rainbow cards are just meant for loopers since they almost never show up on loop 1 for me

Reva is the most braindead easy character in the game

Attached: 1558289782611.jpg (1920x1080, 326.84K)

Something about her makes me not enjoy playing as her much, I dunno. I mostly play Terra, Shiso and Selicy in that order. I should try Hazel but I don't like constructs.

Sell this game to me, please. What's the gameplay like? Do you actively need to do things, or is it strictly a card game?

note that the demo is pretty damn out of date but it gives an okay enough idea of the gameplay

It's more of a shoot-em-up with deckbulding, very fast paced.
Try the demo

Its Megaman Battle Network in a Slay the Spire format. Its an action game with deck building elements, if you're just looking for a card game you won't like it.

>char with a built-in second life is bad
Literal retard.

Real time. You have a deck of spells and you're given 2 spells to use at a time to attack enemies on a 4x8 grid where you can only freely around on the left half (usually). It's pretty fast paced and you're expected to learn how to dodge attack patterns unless you build really strong decks right out of the gate.
