It doesn't help that flash is busted in this and can even blind Birkin from behind, which makes no sense at all. At least this is what I found in my last match when I played Martin against a sudden Birkin attacking a team member.

I don't know if it's me or if the servers are that fickle. The other matches also had a message that said there was a weak connection with the mastermind.

I'm blaming that on people telling others to change their region to the US to get more matches the last few days, since the early hours of the day have all kinds of Masterminds with bad connections hosting which causes all kinds of wonkery from shots not registering to people getting disconnected.

It's also for the rare Ivy spawn, since those are 1-hit kills, though they're stupidly easy to stagger with bullets and die to the torch.

It should be enabled by default, though on Steam it seems to be based on your Steam settings for sensitivity, meaning you could be like the guys that always have it picked up at all times, or you could be like me where you have to cough or make a lot of noise to have it pick up. You can also turn it on or off in the game options.

In the lobby it shows who's talking on mic on the right side of the screen, and ingame it shows the mic icon next to the person's health bar whenever they're talking. They won't make it push-to-talk since all the buttons are used and it would create disparity to allow that as a PC only option, so we're stuck with the same issue that plagued F13 that ultimately killed it; a team based game that was heavily designed around communication that won't be played correctly due to people being afraid to talk to strangers or people oblivious that cause people to hear everything going on at any moment that drowns out everything and causes people to just turn off mics completely ingame.

It already shows coordinated teams usually stomp Masterminds, while uncoordinated teams are usually RP fodder for most Masterminds under Rank 5.

Same as with Mr X. Attack at the same time the survivors are dealing with Zombies, put some trap where you know they may run, target isolated survivors etc... And in the worst case they'll have fewer flashbang which is alright. Just don't make the mistake to be baited by survivors you know you'll never catch while the others complete the objectives.

They really need to change the way survivors work, the goal of the mastermind is to kill them they make it very clear that its the goal, yet they can only kill them when a arbitrary timer reaches zero fuck that, have all survivors have one life once their dead thats it.to balance it have survivors tank more damage and start with 3 herbs from the start, lower the price of herbs and healing spray and this game would be a lot more fun I know they say the timer is how long till your infected but it feels generic

The master minds also need a rework where they can't spawn monsters when survivors can see it. It looks retarded when survivors can see the model appear out of thin air. Resident Evil games don't do that so this spin off shouldn't either and unless its an ivy or some other high powered enemy its retarded for the master mind to do it because the survivors can kill it before it can fully spawn.

Are you sure? I've noticed 0's popping up shooting monsters as they spawn. I think they're invincible at least most of the time they're spawning.

I usually just occupy an area they have to be in and grab whenever possible to pause the timer

Playing as Wesker is just so much, overwhelming the poisoned survivor with a billion trap never gets old.

They are invincible as the spawn, but once there up they’re vulnerable. If you have a good melee weapon you can keep them stunned while other survivors help kill them.

you get about 1 sec of free damage maybe a tad more, I tested it quite a lot unless your in a really laggy match your guaranteed the kill which is why they should make it so the mastermind can't spawn monsters in line of sight of the survivors so retarded master minds don't look as retarded

Flash is pretty OP, sometimes I would miss and throw the flash far away from Mr. X and he would still get stunned.

Every item in the shop has a quantity that everyone shares, meaning there's usually 3-5 green herbs for sale and unlimited ammo per box.

I wouldn't mind if survivors had a limited number of lives or a mode like that, but the problem is that they're neigh invincible. Also like pointed out, creatures have an invincibility period as they're spawning in, with the only problem being that they're vulnerable usually a few seconds before they act, which makes them easy to take down. Like Tough Zombie spawns in face down on the ground but is vulnerable as they stand up, or dogs will just stay put before attacking. It's just one of many issues this game has.

Yeah they're only vulnerable when they spawn for like haf a second I'd say that you have 1-2 shot before they get agressive. But you shouldn't spawn Z in front of your enemies unless you have a plan anyway.

While I get your point, the game is clearly built around time management and wouldn't work quite as well gameplay wise if death were permanent. Opens up many interesting option, sacrificing a playing being a viable one which is what makes the game interesting in the first place.

That's because the game has lore to it, despite being non-canon to the regular games. Sam was crippled somehow and gladly volunteered for a study that caused him to regain all his former jock prowess, but it turns out based on Daniel's dialog that all the survivors were injected with Alexa Wesker's virus from Rev2 about fear and all that potentially mutating them, or being vague due to the quote being "Dr. Wesker's virus" and instead being the cocktail that led to Albert getting his superhuman status. The deal is that they're being tested to see what happens, so I can handwave them having the ability to revive due to Umbrella.

I'd also be fine if they had someone that died and did the whole Matrix logout teleport end up either coming back as a player controlled zombie ala Outbreak, or else being removed until the players make it to the next area's safe room in a possibly downed state or something that doesn't go too gamey in design. Maybe go the L4D route and have them spawn in a safe room that's locked and they need to be rescued?

An user in the old thread said the average loadout was three girls and whoever didn't pick their waifu was relegated to one of the boys, so you have a 33.34% chance of someone picking Sandwhich over Tyrone the Tank or Samuel the Damage Dealing Brawler. Then you have to take in the player's rank with said character to determine their threat level, since if they're above rank 2, they're potentially competent and ready to flash harder than an adult movie star in LA.

My experience is that they'll usually go for Tyrone for free door bursts and abusing stuns for your ultimates, so don't worry too much about it.

Another problem that isn't discussed is that when someone dies, they're loaded with fresh Umbrella credits from the enemies killed, which gives them the chance to purchase more items as they're safely planted back into a safe room with the shop. Outside of Mr. X spamming his brawl move on someone, death is usually rewarded for someone splitting off and being outplayed, so I don't think it would hurt to have them lose most or all of their credits as a penalty, as well as possibly dropping some random items due to having like 15-20 item slots.

/assg/ has taught me both sides are OP and it just depends on which side you prefer for which needs a buff or nerf.

I don't know I think the penalty of having to go back to your team when you're downed especially when everyone is waiting for you at the exit is punishing and tense enough. It also makes for some interesting situation since you have to choose between escorting him and putting yourself in danger or letting him get to you on your own. These types of situation are in tone with the RE series imo.

Can anyone confirm that player controlled Zombies drop more interesting items when killed ? I often found grenades or several ammo near their bodies, might be other Zombies nearby as well so I'd like to know if anyone has a definite answer.

It's hard to cut something that wasn't even intended to be there in the first place in the remake, like spiders, stalky Nemesis, or even entire areas cut from the game and destroying the connected feeling the city had in the original that made the mercs mode flow so well. That's all on the Capcom B Team that was handed RE3 as their task to remake it in the RE engine.

The deal with this game is that it was announced as its own deal by an outside studio to jump into the asymetrical genre that DbD and other games have created, then huge backlash caused Capcom to reconsider how to handle it due to how far along it was in development by that point.

Merc mode cant work in 3make since there are no city streets to set it in. They made sure of that by shrinking them to 2 whole streets.

The keyboard controls are different from RE3. I keep trying to use the mouse wheel to change weapons. I'll give controller a shot and see if it's any better.
