I don't really get the "it is nothing but ports" argument people have. The console gets plenty of new content, and probably gets no more ports or re-releases than any other system.

Thing is I've played every single one of them already. I sort of got suckered into the hype, since I skipped out on the wii u, I bought a lot of those games, and I enjoy mario maker 2 on occasion even still, but I feel like it's a lot slower of a release schedule, and I think I'd have been better off just waiting for a refresh/XL/new switch model to show up so I could get the games all at once rather than having it just sit around for a couple months at a time.
I really wish I cared for animal crossing but the series never clicked for me, even though I've bought it on every system and played it maybe 40 hours across all the entries total.

I'll never understand how you can fail so badly to see the appeal of portability. Fucking hell, the FFX remaster on the Vita was amazing to me. Portable FFX was a dream of mine ever since the PSP was first announced. Getting to take more graphically intensive games on the go is great.

Catching and completing the dex has always been the objective nigger. it's literally the same game as it was 22 years ago at its core mechanics (rock paper scissors combat + collecting them all/evolving)

Bought a switch, played it like one time the hacked it with an emunand, added emulators and a bunch of games now I play it all the time. Can you hack a ps4 I think I played it a few times , for blood borne and red dead 2, now it’s a glorified Netflix machine in my living room. I am mainly on my PC.

Is it a waste of money to buy a switch lite for retro games and last gen ports on handheld if I already own a PS4?
I also don't give a shit about onions inducing exclusives other than Smash Bros, StarFox and maybe Metroid

I buy Nintendo so I can play Zelda and other exclusives and I'm not about owning multiple systems so being able to play Skyrim or Resident Evil 5 or any other game I missed out on is nice.

the switch frankly sucks at being portable, and gimped console ports are a waste of portability anyway. the advantage of previous portable consoles was always cheaper games that were built for the handheld experience.

I got the code for 30 euros from the local dealer. It's not that good, and none of my complaints is about censorship.
I absolutely have no intentions of buying ports of 5+ years old games, unless they add something new; like they did with Phantasy Star port. Actually, I am lying. I do buy old ports. I recently bought Star Ocean 5 on PS Store, and that is a port of PS3 game.
What I don't understand is why are you fags so obsessed with Switch and owners. You call them manchildren, but the only children here are you. I, for one, will almost always buy a multiplat game on Switch.

I actually hardly ever play in handheld mode because my eyes are bad and I can't focus on the tiny text.

Mainly talking about playing in handheld/tabletop mode, coz thats the big selling point of the switch
Its good for games like Animal Crossing or Cuphead but games like Doom Eternal would be terrible in handheld

The bright side of things is, this will be a great emulation machine with time and you can pirate games from GC and WIi eras with a couple WiiU stuff.

Until then people can buy this as much as they want. I will wait
