I haven't played NT yet, planning on giving it a go while on lockdown, but ETG after a while felt like such a grind. Spending hours on unlocking decent guns and items would be acceptable if the core gameplay was enjoyable.

It really doesn't. ETG plays more like a traditional bullet hell game and NTfags keep bitching when they get "unlucky runs" with shitty weapons because bosses become bullet sponges, when the whole appeal of bullet hells is endurance and consistency.

Bingo, the more stages you clear, the better the loot. The first stage only has 5 guns and then it ramps up from there.

NT is quick from the get go, it takes until world three aka 20 minutes to get a run started in gungeon and you can't just skip because you'll need the health which makes bosses boring af when they last so long and you just go throw the motions with pea shooter guns to no hit them.

Yeah, I have no clue what the fuck that's about. Those aren't in the game at all. Those are mods, not sure who put that on the wiki

Throne is a much better experience for me. Guns with punch to them, faster pace, non bullet sponge enemies. I like Throne's looping system too; changing the objective from "doing the run" to "seeing how far you can go" is neat. Gungeon definitely has more polish and better bosses, but it takes a while to get going. Its just a matter of preference.

no, both are very flawed, OPs and third anons game. Aside from being unattractive as fuck, nts gameplay is repetetive, underdeveloped and too twitchy.
