Strange Keyworld is brilliant.
unityroom.com/games/strangekeyworld

I remember Yas Forums showing me a somewhat similar shmup platformer game in a thread so if anyone knows that, it's appreciated. I think the main character was a square cat, and there were tons of secrets.

no idea what to do in this room

Attached: eqrgergerf.png (682x353, 66.01K)

The previous room holds the clue.

Doesn't work for me, nor in XP compatability mode.

yea it is pretty old, im surprised i could even find the page for it. sorry

Stuck on this one as well.

yea i got nothing
thought maybe you could push yourself thru the floor with the buttons but nope

It's like the lost forest in zelda, the order you go each corridor matters.

oooh i get it now

Good shit

Minemonsters is a pretty poor minesweeper variant so far, can't figure out how to do it without relying on luck and trial and error.

nvm knowing there's a 1 nearby makes it safe to click them all, got a good one going and the previous ones probably were solvable too then

Posting a classic.

Also that one game that's basically nothing but bars, I forget what it was called. Minimalism?

I'm still at the starting screen I'm so dumb

Attached: 1577749462378.png (699x466, 531.86K)

There's one where you play as a little angel and collect kittens. Similar style to op's game. I remember the soundtrack being pretty good, I think.

Jump

left screen has platform too high. cant jump on the right

You can jump on the right, or just hold down while walking right.

Attached: 1580090889477.jpg (826x443, 11.51K)

Spacebar to jump lol.

Holy shit that platform is a space bar fuck this game

Thanks, thought it was supposed to be Mario or something.

web game thread?

I didn't even know until recently that Unity can act as a web game which is pretty cool.

Thanks for the laugh user, it was so natural to me that I didn't even realize it could be unclear before you posted that screenshot.

do you get anything for collecting all of the orbs?

?

Sadly, they stopped supporting it natively on Firefox and Chrome recently. I think unityroom and itch do something custom so they still work.

No, they're just there to lead you to some optional challenges.

You stop moving if you try to move in two directions at once.

>You stop moving if you try to move in two directions at once.
what the fuck, I haven't seen that indicated anywhere at all

I think that's the screen where you gotta learn it, and it's a pretty basic interaction. The alternative would be that the second button overrides the first, which would also let you pass through that block by pressing right then left.

fug

Is this a puzzle or the end?

Attached: end.png (639x481, 86.21K)

Not the end, though that screen itself isn't the path forward

Nevermind, found a bit of backtracking.

i'm stuck at the exclamation point room

Describe it?

I was tempted to jump off at the end to see if I could find out what was on the right, but not that tempted.

Attached: end.png (640x480, 51.82K)

it keeps looping around; every time i go past the right i appear on the left

Attached: file.png (712x362, 92.34K)

Didn't realize there was something on the right, I jumped down left after not figuring out how to get the credits lol.

Oh yeah, see , it's a riddle.

>closed tab out
>now I have to go through the whole game
disappoint

Hard and big are both less kind, requiring some trial and error before logic works on its own. Tactical health loss is useful, and might mean that you can logic your way to victory using health as a resource.

Attached: file.png (592x799, 126.81K)

I cant get past this room because it wont let me press multiple keys at once
For example i cant press left+down+space or left+down+up. It just wont recognize that im pressing it
Is this because of a keyboard problem or is this part of the puzzle

Attached: gaem.jpg (638x477, 14.06K)

Could be keyboard, but I think you might be doing it wrong. You need to walljump off that down wall, iirc.

iirc

Attached: wall.png (640x480, 11.05K)

Yeah I have to use hp as a resource to level up and be able to take those 6s and close out the game. I like some of the strategy more than minesweeper though it has a lot more brainless moves that are easily deduced to be safe but you still have to do some maths and click.

In the ending sequence I tried to press all the buttons on screen and it registered like 8 or something, would be weird if that room restricts it especially. Other user is right that you can stand on the up and just do down+left+space though.

Attached: file.png (595x794, 186.17K)

you can click on monsters to reveal a number underneath them

Alright I'm stumped. Where do you go next?

Backtrack a bit, there's another pathway to exit you overlooked.

Oh shit I thought that was just telling you what the monster was worth. I still need to use hp to soak a hit in though.

Cool as shit. Thanks op.

The only things that stuck out to me was this spot being maybe high enough to jump to another screen, or the segmented ground on the last screen that doesn't seem to do anything. Otherwise there really doesn't seem to be anything.

Attached: wot.jpg (640x496, 15.3K)

what's up with this room?

Attached: Screenshot_200.png (161x144, 7.87K)

Anyone get this room?

Attached: HMM.jpg (630x428, 14.54K)

I think jump right, then wall jump in between the wall and [right] block, holding spacebar to go through that block.

Does it move?

The screen with the secret is the one right before the "end?".

Glad you like it!

Got it right before you posted. Cheers

>does it move?
no, and it doesn't seem like there's any way to jump past it from a previous room.

My keyboard can press three buttons, but I think you should be able to do this with the correct timing.

Attached: walldown.webm (640x480, 45.91K)

Fffffffff. I saw that the whole time, but I just subconsciously thought that meant it was attached to the terrain and didn't pay it mind.

You need to go somewhere a bit higher than your regular jump can go.
