Remove OSP
Change attacks so that they are more dodge-able - e.g. have wisps lock on to the spot that you're at, then fire 0.5 seconds later.
The game should be about dodging a fuckload of projectiles and avoiding putting yourself into melee range of enemies.
It should not be about getting hit by shit you had no chance to avoid and then healing back to 90% hp before you get hit again.
It's why shaped glass is so ridiculously OP

I saw someone post a fix for the dedicated steam server issue. Anyone else know the fix? The dedi server launcher opens a white box after the server is setup. Then no one can join it.

Is BanditReloaded any good? Seems like the closest thing i'll get to play my main again in RoR 2 while he sits in the files because Hotpoo won't add him despite being pretty much finished.
I enjoy 2 but looking back I had a lot more fun playing 1.
Ever since 2 every thread is shit up by discordtrannies and fags that don't even play the game. Add the modded vs. unmodded debate to the mix and the fanbase seems way more divided than it ever did in the past.

Also, the only thing worse in RoR2 are the enemy designs. In Risk of Rain 1 you had a ton of cool enemies like the gups, spitters, mechanical spiders and clay men. These are all missing in RoR 2. Also, some of the new enemies in RoR2 look really dumb. Like the giant bell enemies and those burrowing hermit crabs. Like they are so low effort.

it's not so much that i care whether people use glass or not, it's just that the game is prone to devolving into osp abuse because of how damage scales and glass is the most effective way of abusing that fact
bringing back armor scaling means you get a form of built-in defense that's far more consistent than osp without being overwhelmingly powerful, and it can be tuned to fit each character's needs

I kinda like the design of Brass Contraptions, and i want to see their log entry finished cause i'm interested in knowing what the fuck they are and why they exist.
I do miss alot of RoR 1 enemies though. Clay Men, Children and Evolved Lemurians should have returned. I like seeing all of these different enemies of the same species. Gives them some distinction despite belonging to the same group.

IIRC Clay Men were in the files, but just never got finished. Templars fill a different role than Clay Men too. Would be interesting to have a melee exclusive unit that tries to dodge your attack and closes the gap fast.

Claymen are in the files for the game, they were one of the first few enemies they have completed AI IIRC, just their spawning is black listed because hopoo thought they were not fun to play against.

A fast and nimble purely melee enemy could be neat.
Giving a knife-dash to bandit that gets boosted by cloaking and backstabbing would be pretty cool. Shooting from a distance, and then closing in for a melee sounds like its a pretty good combo. Otherwise hes just kind of stuck in the same attack range as commando with his shotgun alt.
His special also needs to be way more useful if the whole point is to reset your cooldowns to use it.
They should probably give his cloaking an attack boost that increases its multiplier the more you kill enemies with it within a certain timelimit (or without getting hit). And then add crit for attacking from behind. That way you get to work it up to bigger enemies if youre competent.
Idk seems like he could be way more interesting if they gave him a higher skillcap.
Risk of dying 90 minutes in to the bead scavenger because he picked up tesla coil during the last 1% and thanks to the white arena you can't see shit until you're both dead.
