I usually play FPS games so I'm at a 144 hz monitor, I tend to turn off shadows, motion blur and other irrelevant cosmetic shit, the best part of Final Fantasy XV was the fishing, at least for me.
I tend to completely ignore "raytracing" and other stuff, for me it's basically hairworks 2.0, it might be important for other people, for me it's not.

At the end of the game you fight these things called Whispers of Fate that the game describes as being guardians that ensure the time line always flows as its intended. During the fight when you're hit you see flashes of later events (Aeris death, the final cinematic with Red XIII, etc), when they're defeated Red XIII says they were visions of a tomorrow that WOULD HAVE come had they lost.
They Cloud sees a memory of Zack carrying him to Midgar at a point he was normally dead by, then it says "The Unknown Journey Will Continue"
Basically it's not FF7 at all, you severed the threads of fate that lead to the original games story and everything in the future releases will be entirely new story.
