Great main games (excluding D/P but Pt is fine), great music, great spinoffs, great remakes, great designs, etc. etc. etc.
Gen 1 needed time to find its footing and Gen 5, while B2W2 is great, is lacking in other departments like good spinoffs

A bit to the east of here with a gameshark, you could walk through a bunch of trees and reach this small 2x2 area of 2 blocks path and 2 blocks water. The water only had level 60 corsolas. I ended up saving there and lost my gameshark afterwards. I had no way out cause I didn't have fly on me for some fucking reason, so I had to wait til whatever pokemon I made lvl99 eventually fainted from struggling itself to death.

Never thought about it until last year but the 3DS leap really hurt spinoffs and I'm surprised Mystery Dungeon rose from the ashes the way it did. For what it's worth gen 5 still gave us Conquest, Rumble Blast, and the Dream Radar so it's not completely limp.
