Lol underage retatd detected.
This is a shadow from command and conquer
You think as I do.
I read ya ... sir
GeneralMLD?!
Need a light?
Please nuke Square
>units like ghosts and scouts will virtually/literally never see use in pro games
Kind of a shame. Why did they make ghosts have concussive damage anyway, are they supposed to just have an arbiter-tier meme attack.
he lost
I know. It was a good game though.
>a ghost, a wrath and a scout walk into a bar
My wife for hire
Wraiths are useful though, you can micro them like mutas. They have their place in TvZ and TvT.
Had he covered the ghost with the science vessel to eat some glaives the second nuke might even have landed, it was absurdly close.
Get enough of them you might be able to kill a worker in under ten seconds
Ghosts suffer from being supposed to be part of the spellcaster-only squad like HTs/dark archons, queens/defilers, and vessels, only their default spell is gimped by costing significant resources at the same time as competing for scan capability.
Glad you could make it, Uther.
They need ridiculous amount of tech to become useful.
Which is a shame, because in decent level Starcraft, it just means the enemy can sniff weakness and kill you. If you were ahead of them in the game, you are taking a huge risk letting them recover for comparatively little reward. Not that I was ever at a decent player in Brood War.
Nice try zoomie but it's actually an Imperial Guard artillery spotter from a DoW2 mod.
I'm glad these guys are becoming more meta in TvZ.
GO GO GO
I remember seeing some absurdly good defensive play with two firebats mixed in on the flanks of a marine/medic group, setting up an overlapping killzone that just brutalized zerglings.
Firebats can be insanely strong in the right circumstances. Going up a ramp is tough enough - try going up one with lings against bats, you will lose infinite lings
Ghosts should have had optic flare instead of lockdown.
>drop some ghosts in a base and cloak
>kill workers and flare any overlords/observers that come near
*pshhhhht*
Ahhh that's the stuff.
why did only the terrans get units with concussive weapons
Why don't people use flares against Obs in TvP? You practically get rid of a unit without giving them back the supply.
>But Muh costs
when I was a kid I didn't like using these guys because of how rude they were
You don't make medics in the matchup
Because it's retarded
>Spend resources and energy and all it accomplishes is forcing the protoss player to kill their own useless obs or fly it over a turret
Like how the fuck do you even consider there being an upside to it?
Probably a mix of too much micro relative to the reward and observers being too cheap and easy to kill. Science vessels would be a worthy target
>thinking you can possibly flare every single fucking overlord
Good luck buddy.
An expansion won't have that many overlords near it. Protoss routinely slip DTs into expansions that don't have overlords.
In the pipe, five by five
Back in the day I remember Boxer doing this. He flew in a dropship full of medics, picked out a few Observers in a pile of Carriers surrounded by Interceptors and Blinded them. Then he used his Wraiths and completely destroyed his opponent.
Yeah I know nobody builds any of the units I just named. But if fucking happened and it isn't any less impressive now than it was then. He did shit like this all the time fucking targeting Observers in the midst of swarms of units.
Yes, early on. Ghosts are not early on in the game, they are the same tier as battlecruisers. Not only would it take forever to get into the position where you can actually drop ghosts and medics (and also very expensive), but at that point there would be tons of overlords, and at that point ghosts are going to kill basically nothing, and unlike DTs the enemy knows immediately that you are attacking his units with ghosts and could (very temporarily) move away his workers because ghosts are slow as shit, and then mop up your overpriced permanently stim-free marines with a handful of zerglings.
>and medics
What did Terran Marine mean by this?
What have you actually accomplished? You killed a few drones and made the rest run away. You are plinking at a hatchery now with nothing else to target. You could try moving further into the base, but then you'll probably be running right into death. And if you stay any longer, there are going to be ultralisks, defilers or enough zerglings. Ghosts do 1/2-1/3rd the damage of a marine. You aren't going to be killing any critical buildings with them since not only is their damage bad, but they can't rush into positions like marines can. A much more threatening attack would be to send in stimmed marines and knock out a spire/defiler mound/ultralisk cavern, or wipe out an entire worker line with vultures or marines. Or even send in a battlecruiser to pester them. Ghosts offer nothing of use in a drop like that unless you plan on nuking and praying that the enemy massively screwed up.
Because guns.
then they succeeded in his design
>and scouts
The forbidden one appeared in this season of ASL.
And ghosts appeared a few seasons ago in both asl and ksl

>Protards have to waste their time instead of yours to kill it. Obs still eats supply if they forget about it.
>Can probably exploit that in a way
No wonder you're not pro in BW.
