You need the campsite built and the first villager from it must be invited already. Then you get the option to scan an amiibo to go there. You need to invite him 3 time and then he will move it and you do need 10 villagers if you want someone kicked out.
You get a ton of egg theme recipes from bottles and such and if you craft them all before the end date you get some kind of reward from the rabbit

it's a three day process from what I understand. First you need the campsite and give them the furniture they request each day. On the last day you'll need an open plot and they should ask you if they can move in.

Normal is ... well called Normal for a reason, they are less gimmicky (like how Peppy's are always talking about being pop stars and famous... one is nice to have but if you have 2 its gonna be a nightmare and you'll get tired quickly)
And while males don't really have a "normal", Lazy is often considered the male counterpart of normal, a bit more gimmicky since they are always talking about snacking, but they're cool too and since they are... well Lazy you are less likely to be running into them as much if you have 2, so you don't get burnt out as much.
