The thing about RE4, is that by the time we got to the PS2 version, there was so much FUCKING CONTENT, and that is sort of the hallmark of what I love so much about the game. I've probably beat the game double digits worth of times, and it's in my top 5 ever. But all the bonus stuff is great too, and if they'd dare release a definitive version in 2020 without all that shit, I wouldn't even consider purchasing it.

In fact, it'd be really cool if they expanded on the bonus content. New Mercenaries characters and levels, tweaked challenge.

They better keep the tank controls, and they better make you stand still when you fight. They've been pretty good lately about remembering that RE is supposed to be tense, but I would be fucking seething if it controlled like 5.

At this point, turning Re4-6 into traditional fixed camera survival horror games that stay in a general area that you backtrack to and from, solving puzzles and shit is the only way I'd be interested in playing them.
