Shame that Araki killed by using the biggest asspull of the series after GERequiem
all he had to do was not lie to johnny at the end and he would've won
Maybe his heart and actions were clouded...
In the end, they cried for injustice
Valentine's last gambit and the final quickdraw duel are by far the best conclusion to a main villain battle in the series.
I don't get why Valentine didn't simply pull out various others Dios to grow at OVER HEAVEN ASCENDED DIO. Or better yet, just tell the other JoJo's to distract him while Jonathan gives him the guy of death, you have the chance to make everything ends like it started. But noooooo, we have to put more Jotaro wank in the game or else nobody will play it
On one hand, DIO over heaven is stupid in general.
On the other, bamco pulled "the same type of stand" and it's so terrible that it's unexpected.
Johnathan really should have gotten a stand in the game and use it to help fight DIO.
>biggest asspull
So did you just not watch the end of Stardust Crusaders at ALL, or...?
I love Jojo, and I know we tend to forgive that one because Star Platinum: The World is cool, but it came out of fucking nowhere.
Jonathan should have been the one to defeat DIO
I can rationalize it in my headcanon that during all this time were Jotaro thought that he had super speed and reflexes, like against Geb and Anubis, he was just subconsciously stopping time for a few seconds.
Like said, with enough headcanon and theorizing you can justify SDC's ending. With EoH no amount of headcanon can justify it.
New JoJo game when?!
>The last decent JoJo game was released 7 years ago
>The newest JoJo game is an anime-only Fortnite clone
It's not fair
That was what I thought too. Remember how Dio mentioned he didn't realize his stand had the ability to stop time until a few months of using his stand. It makes perfect sense for Jotaro to discover his stand could stop time too during the very moment Dio stopped time near Jotaro.
I definitely want to say it was probably intended by Araki from the beginning of the fight, but I am not sure if it was originally intended for Jotaro to have the ability to stop time from the start of the story though.
I don't get it, why would he NOT have a gun? He's another valentine from another universe that still had the gun with him, it's not like he brought it to the corpse universe on PURPOSE!? So having the gun proves nothing
DIO Over Heaven is kino.
If there's only one corpse in one universe, why were all the other valentines and johnny fighting?
Chaos Emeralds
Doesn't the new valentine get "upgraded" with all the memories and information the old valentine had? Otherwise it would be kinda hard to explain, so of course he knew the situation he was entering into and decided to bring a gun into the negotiation.
Oh, you people are talking about the game? I thought we were talking about the conclusion of the fight against Valentine in Part 7 itself.
So now that Joshu's going to kill Jobin one-on-one, is the head doctor really gonna be the main villain?
The World's original power was all the powers of the Tarot stands.
Because he can drop the gun before coming back or flat out just throw it to the ground once he returns to Johnny.
DIO Over Heaven never fought the Crusaders the same way we see it. He wiped them out and reached his potential with The World, so he never got to realize that Jotaro and he share the same stand.
At least one of these universes they were fighting for diamonds. If they were special and granted them stands like the main corpse, or they were just valuables is unknown
This is part 8's main villain, say something nice about him
The "same type of stand" shit in SC and EoH would make a lot more sense if we could assume that The World is actually Jonathan's Stand and that any modification DIO does is transferred to Jotaro through Jonathan's will or some shit, but that seems more and more unlikely because of DIO's Hermit Purple copy and on a meta level with alternate Diego having The World
Does anyone else hate part 3?
I dropped it and months later forced myself to watch it only to not miss anything important for later parts
Outside the fights where someone joins the team everything is filler until they reach dio's house and it's always the same
>reach new town
>weird shit happens
>team is too retarded and careless
>some background characters dies
>OH NO, IS THAT AN ENEMY STAND?
>beat the bad guy and repeat
But since the second half of part 4 the series got really good
>The World's original power was all the powers of the Tarot stands.
If that's true I'm glad Araki changed that faggotry up because SDC would have sucked hard if he went with it.
I just want a Heritage for the Future fighter with the cast of Eyes of Heaven cast, with maybe more part 7 and 8 characters
Wheel of Fortune is kicking my ass in 7th Stand User. Kakyoin is useless at short range, even with Punishment Time, Polnareff and Joseph are too low level with very low damage. Its up to me with Napalm Death and Jotaro to deal the damage. Might just throw in the towel and do the Jotaro only fight. Especially as failing means I have to mash the buttons to skip back to the fight for about five minutes.

my brain doesn't work I swear
Speed King is rad but what could it possibly do for it to have a cool final battle sequence? If it does happen I'm sure Araki will just add in some crazy upgrade vaguely related to heat but as is it doesn't seem particularly strong outside of sneak attacks
It's not true. I'm not even sure where that false factoid comes from. I've scoured the internet and can't find anything where Araki says anything like that.
Hypothesising that it would be made by ArcSys, and there would be 24 characters on the roster of the base game, who would you pick?
The story feels more like some uber Rock Human will show up to clean up the mess in Morioh, with Joubin being a tragic villain. He could also maybe use the fruit for a stand exchange but that's a long stretch.
There's no problem in just auto resolving the right, since some of those are pretty challenging depending on your level and that of the crusades. Some of them, like High Empress I could only do on NG+
When Johnny asked him to touch the base world's revolver, he was fucked. He knew he had a revolver in his pocket that belonged to the Valentine he body hopped to. Regardless of whether he intended to betray Johnny or legitimately intended to take the corpse and fuck off (though setting up alt-Diego as a contingency heavily indicates the former), it was too late to just say "whoops, forgot I had this on me!" when Johnny called him out on having it. The whole purpose of the negotiation was to convince Johnny to trust him enough to spare him, and Johnny struck a fatal blow in them even if he didn't want to. At that point Valentine had no option other than to try and force his way through with a shootout, even if HE didn't want to.

If it was made by ArcSys it would be 12 characters on the base roster and they would be the most basic bitch vanilla choices.

how can i like something i haven't read yet?

For some reason I forgot about that. I'll try it next time. Also, playing the game made me realize that a big budget turn based game is probably the best thing to do. A real time action game can't do stands justice, too many restrictions on the player but a turn based game with quality animations, spectacle, sound, VA, music etc. is the best we can get.
I can never for the life of me understand how it is the most popular part. Japs like their basic formats I guess
3 > 4 > 2 > 1 > 5 > 7 > 6.

I don't dislike any JoJo parts, picking the bottom 3 is hard.
Feels like it might have something to do with molecular vibration since he's building up heat repeatedly on a small scale. Now I'm wondering if there's any crazy pop or pseudo-science associated with vibrations that Araki can use to justify some batshit crazy ability
I appreciate that fellow GOAT Ocean Chads are here, but what is with these rankings after 6?

pure kino
I've tried reading it and dropped it 3 times now, meanwhile i had no issues reading 5, 7 and 8. I'm sure one day i'll read it from start to finish and experience all of its kino r-right?
>Gwess
Why though?
Am I the only one who loves Over Heaven Dio's design+his stand?
Inb4 Araki pulls out some string theory and says that Jobin is manipulating the strings that make up atoms, thus allowing him them to manipulate matter as he pleases
You gotta have that one oddball pick that makes no sense
jobin is one of my fav characters and speed king is based looking.
Over Heaven DIO's design is so gaudy but it's fitting for him so it's cool. Isn't his Stand just a recolor though? And I hate the ability, it's boring as shit compared to the absolute lunacy we got with Pucci's Stand undergoing the same upgrade.
>Not Dragon's Dream, the ultimate pleb filter
For me part 6 had the best start because you it has organic progress and makes you want to know what is happening while previous parts start with the main objective being clear or nothing important happening until the second half
read Part 6 right now you faggot, its last arcs are unadulterated manga kino

replace Guess with Anasui, Weather Report or Hermes
replace Joshu with Rai or Yasuho

>lel Part 3 ending, but with Dio's bracelet fuck you
This. Part 6 has some great moments. Stone Free is the best stand belonging to a JoJo due to its immense versatility without being broken or inconsistent. The cast is pretty damn solid too. I saw so much hate for part 6 so I was expecting the worst but got the best part instead.
Inb4 Araki pull out the speed force and brings us the JoJo of Two Worlds
