What was the 4th announcement?

Platinum hasnt made 1 single good video game in the entire history of the studio. Discuss this fact.

>discussing with a retard

They have, but only with the help of outside direction

I think it was just a fool's day thing

sin and punishment 3

>literally just shit out licensed titles for other companies
>Haha bro just air juggle waves of enemies for 20 hours in every single game
Its true

Please don't be on Switch.

Please be Switch exclusive.

Not happening. Platinum hates Nintendo with a passion.

Is that why their last game was Switch exclusive?

Pls

Please.

>Bayonetta 1/2
>TW101
>Vanquish
>Astral Chain
>Devastation
>Metal Gear Rising
>not good

I hope some9ne can verify but I heard Miyamoto interfered massively with this game. Is that true?

>there was no Anarchy Reigns port
>Taura is now their big director
Fuck this gay earth

A new Fantastic Four game.

Give me Viewtiful Joe remastered trilogy

That's the story.

Astral Chain was a piece of shit.

Oh yeah. Platinum had all of these crazy ideas but Miyamoto nixed them ALL in favor of more motion controls.

No one at Platinum was happy. Kamiya is more disappointed with Zero than he is with Scalebound (Which he still thinks he can finish)

Who is Taura? Kamiya and Saito are their best at the moment

>Who is Taura
He was the gameplay designer for Nier Automata and the director of Astral Chain

I hate the gameplay of both titles

>"Company doesn't make good games"
>"What about these games"
>"I don't like them so they don't count"
every time

>gameplay designer

What did he even design, Automata has copy pasted shittier Bayonetta combat

What was the 4th announcement?

thats just platinum combat retard
also low iq

>Astral Chain
>shit
Tell us more, prophet.

>nintendo bonus

Yawn. Next you'll be telling me ARMS was a success and that people actually care about Splatoon.

Shmup

It's not Platinum combat. It's continuously repurposed Bayonetta combat without the depth and enemy design of Bayonetta.

It will be a Switch exclusive so what's the point

Unfortunately Kamiya and Saito are both basically up to absolutely fucking nothing. I guess Kamiya has Project GG loosely formed now, so he's actually doing work, though it's unclear what (if anything) Saito is even working on at the moment.

Which is funny because wayforward released a real schump for april fools day
It's kicking my ass too

Nah Platinum love their dodge spam combat.

if you think nier automata combat is in any way close to bayonetta you're a retard.

Fuck you and your remasters you cocksucker give me new games

I'm playing Transformers Devastation right now and I'm finding it bland and boring as fuck; I just fought Soundwave for the first time (I assume you fight him again given how he flees after having half of his health) .
Probably I'll drop it if it doesn't improve on the next hour.

I should have know better: a game ignored by everyone but Yas Forums sucks its dick non-stop? Red flag.

That's like giving up on Bayonetta after playing Normal mode. You should know, if you care about action games, that the first playthrough is a tutorial and the higher difficulties with remixed enemy placements and all of your unlocked upgrades are the actual game.

>It's continuously repurposed Bayonetta combat without the depth and enemy design of Bayonetta.
So platinum combat, got it

>"It gets good 40 hours later"
That garbage has never been true, ever.
All the action games I've played and liked were good, entertaining and challenging from the very first playthrought.
I'll keep playing but I'm seeing myself dropping TD if it stays as it is.

It's Star Fox, AKA the franchise that's still around solely because it's Miyamoto's furry baby. Of course he interfered with it.

Devastation is only worth one playthrough, the half baked level/loot system ruins it

>All the action games I've played and liked were good, entertaining and challenging from the very first playthrough
I take it you were not a fan of the Devil May Cry franchise

It's only a short game anyway, you'll be most of the way through it after that hour, and the fights against Blitzwing, Motormaster and Starscream are good fun. The 2nd Soundwave fight is rad too

Its a meh game and a shit platinum game

MGR2

You're missing out on all the most interesting mechanics without hitting Prime difficulty. When all of the RPG/elemental/status stuff becomes important because it's a means for negating AI behaviors that don't exist in lower difficulties, when upgrades make it reasonable to max out Overdrive in normal encounters and spark chaining becomes a significant mechanic, etc.

I can accept being turned off by the RPG elements enough to not want to see it through, but understand that, for better or worse, they are TFD's version of "buying all of Dante's moves and style upgrades with Red Orbs" and until you get yourself properly outfitted and on the highest difficulty you really aren't seeing the game at the level that the people who love it are gushing about.

I've only played Devil May Cry 1, but that game was good from the very beginning and grabbed me immediately, even when Normal difficulty was felt like the tutorial difficulty compared to Hard and Dante must Die.

I can't say the same about Transformers Devastation.

>"It gets good 40 hours later"
Nah. If a game isn't good during the first few hours, it's not a good game. As simple as that.

you can't say the same because you didn't played higher difficulties in transformers
